We had an action packed games this week. Close wins, near misses, a game in Rio, and backup quarterbacks from yesteryear reminding us of an era long gone when the lights were brightest. Plus, JJ McCarthy is shipped to the Giants and Joey Porter Jr is now a Steeler.

It's a bad week to be a young quarterback as we saw Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Jaxson Dart all go down and exit their respective games with an injury. Caleb is week to week with a hamstring, Jayden's elbow is dislocated, and Dart is out for season after opting for knee surgery. There's trouble with Baker and the Bucs, issues with Herbert and the Chargers, and Josh Allen keeps running past HOF running backs on the all-time rushing TD leaderboard. We chat about all this and more in this week's edition of NFLMAO!

Aedan takes on solo hosting duties while Luke deals with an undisclosed illness. Is he faking it? Well, we can't really say. But either way, the show must go on! Listen in on Aedan's Week 1 recap, his thoughts on the Week 2 matchups, and covers the fellas' picks.

Our sixth season covering the NFL is upon us and we're locking in our picks for divisional winners, award winners, and who we've got winning their Week 1 matchups this week. We also cover a little bit of college football while we're at it because Western Michigan got robbed and it has to be acknowledged.

The preseason is over, all 32 teams have set their 53-man rosters, Nike revealed the 2026 Rivalries uniforms, and Aaron Donald is un-retiring to run it back with the Los Angeles Rams. In other words...we are so back!

The HOF Game is a shining beacon in what was a dark, turbulent, stormy sea of an offseason. It signals safety. It beckons to us, assuring football will return. And Carson Boeck did his own beckoning last night to the fans of the AZ Cardinals looking for their next starting QB. Listen as we chat about the game, the 2026 HOF Class, and other training camp storylines as we see fit.

We have not-so-breaking news! The Browns and the Rams swap Jared Verse and Myles Garrett in a stunning trade! What does this mean for the LA Rams Super Bowl aspirations? Will Aaron Donald come out of retirement to put the cherry on top of this super team sundae? Plus, Caleb Williams is the Madden Cover athlete for 2027. Will he be cursed? All this and more in this week's edition of NFLMAO!

Post-Draft Clarity 2026 by Lucas Guy Taylor & Aedan Wright

We have to chat about the Russini and Vrabel situation that's taken the media world by storm. The frenzy has raised questions about journalistic integrity and drawn due criticism from across the board. Does the NFL step in with discipline? Where does this leave the Pats ahead of the draft? With less than a week until the big night, there's plenty of speculation on and off the field for the New England squad and the other 31 teams vying for next year's Lombardi trophy!

The Ravens agreed to send two, count 'em TWO, first rounds picks to the Raiders for Maxx Crosby on Monday. They backed out a couple days later. We discuss this, Kyler Murray to the Vikings, and every other nook and cranny of our free agency information thus far!

In the first entry into our current coverage of the NFL offseason, we're chatting about forthcoming free agents, franchise tags, the Hammond Bears and more! Stick with us, folks. We'll make it through these football-deficient weekends together.

The Seahawks cruised to a Super Bowl victory of the Pats thanks to their stout defense, incredible running game, and top notch special teams. A full-blown beatdown ensued on the world's biggest stage and we liked it! Plus, we're talking about the enshitification of so many things and looking toward the future. Love you!

The Patriots best the Broncos in the driving snow in a gutsy, defensive bout in the AFC Title game. Sam Darnold gave the best playoff performance in Seattle history as the Seahawks bested the LA Rams in the NFC Championship. We're talking about the state of Minneapolis, we're talking about coaching carousels, we're having zero fun gambling with the jersey bet. Enjoy.
