Vini De Groove is a multi-instrumentalist with more than twenty years dedicated to the evolution of his craft. His artistic path deepened in 2010 when he traveled to Spain to study Flamenco guitar, where he discovered that music extends far beyond melody, rhythm, and dance. Within flamenco he encountered something deeper — the story, history, and spirit that live inside the music. From that moment, he understood that to truly absorb a culture, one must go directly to its source. Driven by this philosophy, Vini spent over fourteen years traveling throughout the Americas in search of the regional rhythms and cultural traditions that shape musical expression. The last eleven years of this journey have been rooted in Brazil, where he now lives and continues to immerse himself in the country’s rich musical landscape. Through these experiences, his work has expanded beyond performance into storytelling and documentation. On October 10th 2013, at the age of 34 years, Torbjørn “Thor” Pedersen set out on an ambitious journey to become the first person in history to reach every country in the world completely without flying.  Thor speaks about the unique adventures within the journey and considerations relating to the planning of a multi-year global project. The greatest challenges he faced were related to bureaucracy and logistics, and as the project moved into its later years, extreme exhaustion. Dr. Tamie J. Jovanelly (aka Dr. Jo) is a Professor of Geology and a Research Affiliate at Berry College, Georgia. Briana Gervat is a historian, photographer, and an author who recently published her memoir, There Will Come Soft Rains: A Journey Along the Western Front. She is the first woman to walk the "Western Front Way" solo. In 2022, just as the world began to open after the isolation of a global pandemic, Briana Gervat set out to walk the length of the Western Front. Beginning at the border that France shares with Switzerland she went into the wild in search of hope and in search of peace. For 500 miles, she climbed over the mountains of the Vosges, through the battle-scarred landscapes of Verdun, the Marne, and the Somme, all the way to the North Sea in Belgium.
