As we dive into the start of our summer season here on the east coast, there is a lighter feeling of excitement and joy when thinking about the memories that shaped our summers growing up. Beauty standards have shifted and changed for hundreds of years. Every culture and every human has its own perception of beauty. But what controls the beauty standard in a single culture? Moriah and katie explore their thoughts and indulge in some laughter upon self discovery. Beauty is where is it has always been, within. We can use fashion as a tool to showcase and honor our beauty, but chasing the fashion to feel beautiful is more like filling a void. Luckily technology has helped a lot in reminding us that we are in control. Let your beauty standard be a reflection of the person you are inside.

What's your squash? For example, what are you saying, thinking, and doing differently now than 10 years ago? Every 10 years or so we go through a transition, a growth. Sometimes it smacks us in the face. Other times it creeps up on us and without realizing it, we have changed. We go from playing on playgrounds endlessly, to dancing our hearts out to the last song of the night wishing for it not to be over. Then, fast forward another 10 years and we're cozied up on the couch or in bed by 10pm just as content as the little kid on that playground. Our lives change. We change.
