Another week, another Ramblers episode in the books as the team of John Vu, Devin Imsirpasic and Lucas Williams touched on a plethora of CSU Sports. To start, it was yet another disappointing week for CSU Football as they'd fall to new Pac-12 opponent in the Texas State Bobcats this last Thursday. The crew talks about the state of the team and where they stack within the Pac-12 after 6 games with 6 games remaining.  On a more positive note CSU Volleyball just continues to do what the do best: winning. With their Saturday afternoon 3-0 sweeping win against Utah State the Rams improve to 14-3 overall and a perfect 7-0 in their in-conference schedule. With 9 games remaining on the season the team looks to clinch the top seed along with the ability to host the Pac-12 tournament come late November.  Finally, the team would take a dive into CSU Men's Basketball as their regular season rapidly approaches as they'll travel west this weekend for their exhibition game against San Diego before returning home for season opener on November 2nd against Montana State.  Tune in to 90.5 FM, on our website at kcsufm.com or the kcsu app.

The Ramblers Team of John Vu and Landon Blanco talk about the current and future state of CSU Volleyball as they've continued their hot streak, winning their 7th game in a row and keeping their name in the national spotlight in recent coaches' polls. With 10 games remaining on the season, the program looks to finish strong with the hope of hosting their inaugural Pac-12 conference season come late November, with a key four-game road trip up and coming these next two weeks.  While CSU Football was on bye this past week, they have quite the turnaround as they're set to face Texas State this Thursday. Landon and John talk about the current state of the team with the change of defensive play caller and predict the remaining schedule of the season as the program looks to find a bowl game in Jim Mora's first season as head coach. Lastly, the team would touch on Men's and Women's Basketball as they're both gearing up for the beginning of the season, as each team's first exhibition games are just under two weeks away. The Ramblers Team of John Vu, Devin Imsirpasic, and Lucas Williams speak on the how CSU Football has yet again made national headlines after what can be said as a dramatic move this last Saturday. Scoring 50+ points in back-to-back games for the first time since 1984, head coach Jim Mora made the big change of relieving defensive coordinator Tyson Summers of his duties. Following the change, Summers would then leave the field on his own power prompting Mora and the program to fire Summers marking the end of his second stint with the team. The crew would also touch on CSU Volleyball continuing to power through their first four games of Pac-12 competition along with CSU Men's and Women's Basketball gearing up for their seasons as they rapidly approach. Ramblers 05/04/2026: In the final episode of the semester, the Ramblers team touch on an array of developments in CSU sports both present and future. Starting with the logistics regarding the impending merge to the Pac-12 this summer and the effect it will have on college sports as a whole, going on to dissect the local high school football landscape and how it bodes for future CSU recruitment. In the latter half of the episode, the Ramblers team touches on CSU's final Mountain West Championships in Volleyball and Track, and how they and other smaller sports will mend with the conference change. To close things off, the team touch on the addition of promising transfer Anna Wickstrom to CSU basketball and how the team will look as a whole next season.Ramblers will return next semester. Ramblers 04/20/2026: With the school year wrapping up, CSU sports programs are following suit, giving the KCSU sports team plenty of time to look ahead to next year. As of Friday, April 17, the official spring 2026 football practice schedule has concluded. The team digs into everything learned from the sessions, ranging from the current state of the roster (with 24 players currently injured) to the mindset of head coach Jim Mora. Ramblers 04/13/2026: The KCSU sports team covers the Ram Spring Spotlight football game that took place this past Saturday, April 11. The event provided plenty of insight into what could be to come in next year’s football season, especially with new players like K’saan Farrar getting their most public representation on CSU football thus far. With the NCAA transfer portal just days from wrapping up, CSU’s basketball teams are nearly set for the upcoming season with some major roster updates. These moves give Ramblers a better idea than ever of how next year will look in the sport, as well as a chance to break down some of the most impactful new and departing players. Ramblers 04/06/2026: Happy DJ-Athon! In honor of CSU’s bi-weekly fundraiser, the KCSU sports team dedicates a good bit of their show to calls for donations, which can be made at kcsufm.com/donate. In regular sports programming, the basketball transfer portal is in full force, with CSU both keeping and losing key players as well as gaining new players including Amondo Miller of CU and Luke Howery. On the other side of the spectrum, star players including Brooke Carlson, who just hit a career-high 26 points in March Madness, are not planning on returning next year. Ramblers 03/30/26: The KCSU Sports team speculates on what is to come for CSU men’s basketball and who is next in line for the Rams. With veteran transfers, including Carey Booth, hitting their final college years and Augustinas Kiudulas entering the transfer portal, it is uncertain if CSU will have a key star player in the same way the program has over the past few years. On the other side of the spectrum, there are three CU players who the team speculates could make their way to CSU. Ramblers 03/25/26: There is much to touch on in the world of CSU basketball as both seasons come to an end. CSU women’s basketball picked up its first conference tournament championship since 2016, inserting the Rams into the NCAA Tournament as a No. 12 seed. KCSU Assistant Sports Director Devin Imsirpasic reports on traveling to Norman, Oklahoma, to cover CSU’s hard-fought battle against Michigan State in the first round. Lucas Williams then joins the show to discuss the men’s basketball team's upsetting loss against SDSU during the Mountain West tournament. After touching on both teams' final games, the Ramblers crew looks back at the highlights of the basketball season and predicts what could be to come next year. The former CSU football wide receiver touches on his experiences in college football, his mindset in the midst of the current NIL landscape, and what he hopes to see next from CSU football. He also shares his goals for the NFL draft and the Pro Bowl, where he'll face off against nearly a dozen fellow professional prospects. Following their chat with Lanier, Adam Gross and Devin Imsirpasic are joined by Lucas Williams to recap men’s basketball’s loss against Boise State on Saturday, March 7. They speculate how the season will wrap up with the Mountain West tournament beginning March 11, before closing with an update on women’s basketball, as the team continues their win streak in the midst of their own tournament. Ramblers 03/02/2026: KCSU Sports Directors Adam Gross and Devin Imsirpaisic are joined by Lucas Williams to chat with special guest Kapri Bibbs, an NFL veteran and former running back for CSU. Bibbs set the single-season rushing record and 31 touchdowns during the 2014 season before moving on to a professional football career. Bibbs joined the KCSU studio to discuss his experience playing in both college and professional football, providing insider information about his storied career, particularly regarding the business side of his experience as an undrafted NFL player. Bibbs now releases music under the name Just Kapri and is pursuing a career in film. Ramblers 02/23/2026: In a basketball heavy episode of Ramblers, KCSU Sports Directors Adam Gross and Devin Imsirpaisic sit down in the DJ booth to dissect what has ended up being quite the positive week in CSU sports; most prominently for the men's basketball team, who find themselves holding a five-game win streak just weeks before the end of the season. The Rocky Mountain Collegian Sports Editors Sophie Webb and Michael Hovey stop by to analyze how the Rams blew out the 15-2 SDSU Aztecs in the Orange Out game and speculate how this game could elevate some of CSU's star players. The pair recently returned from the Jarvis Scott Open in Lubbock, Texas, CSU’s first track meet televised on ESPN. Following a talk with the star throwers, our hosts dissect the newly released Pac-12 football schedule, as well as CSU men’s and women’s basketball wins as the seasons wind down.
