This week I am joined by the other half of Minds Eye Theatre Company Jonathan Quigley. Jonathan is a writer, director, and actor who is a fanatic film fan, basically he's perfect for the podcast. He chooses a new enough flick by the name of Knives Out, a classic spin on the traditional "Who done it?" genre. Not only will it keep you guessing until the very end but it'll also blow you away with its acting and incredible direction. Directed by the infamous (in some circles) Rian Johnson join us as we deep dive into this modern classic. Enjoy!

This week I am joined again by NYU film student, tik tok star, Instagrammer Roie Karni. Like before Roie brings a critically acclaimed non-English film to the table. City Of God a film set in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, released in 2002, made a big splash in the cinema world and after my first watch, I can understand why. Join us as we discuss the skillful mastery of pace and how this movie opens up a window to a whole other world you might not have known existed.

In this week's episode, I finally get to talk about MY favorite movie. Fight Club! I'm joined by musician/actor/artist Brendan Hickey. First off major SPOILER warning if you have yet to see Fight Club please, please, please watch it before listening to this episode.  Once you have come on back and strap yourself in as I talk to Bren about our college days drawing phallic-shaped cartoon characters to the deepest meaning of purpose raised by this masterpiece of film which is even more relevant today. This week I am joined by another actor to chat about what some would argue one of the best movies of all time Martin Scorsese's Goodfeelas. This powerhouse picture is a masterclass in directing, acting and writing which gives us plenty of material to dive in on. We discuss the different vibe and comparison to other classic gangster movies like The Godfather. We also discuss the issues gangsters would have nowadays trying to hide bodies :O Enjoy folks this is a good one!

This week I'm joined by Canadian actor Olivia Lepore. Who picked the deeply woven tale of the prince clown of crime himself, Joker. This sleeper hit made a crazy splash when it landed in 2019 making over a billion dollars. Tune in as we dissect what makes this story about mental health with a comic book character face hits in all the right places. Enjoy

This week we have a special guest, actor Tony Doyle (who just wrote directed and starred in his own short Guard Up) joins us to talk a bout a classic which I hadn't seen before Road to Perdition. This film contains something I thought wasn't possible, Tom Hanks as a killer! Shocker I know. Join us as we dive into this complex classic tale of father and sons. We also chat a bit about the industry and the difficulties Tony has run into in his own career. Enjoy! P.S. Hello witches and wizards! This week I am joined by Dara once again, but this time we dive into her real favorite movie, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Dara has an intense passion for Harry Potter, having read all the books (multiple times) and basically watching the films any chance she gets. Seriously, she suggests it at least once a week. She is the perfect guest to get into the deep details of the Potter world and why this particular installment keeps her coming back for more and more! Enjoy! P.S. Who would of thought that in 2017 when a lackluster Justice League movie was released that 4 years later we would get a 4 hour epic of that same film, improving on almost every aspect of the original. The film about a lovable rogue just out for the day with his best friend and girlfriend is easily in most peoples top 5. But what is it about the flick that makes us love it? Ferris's charm?
