Ep.92 The Prophet Jonah Preaches at Nineveh, Jonah 1:1-4:11 World’s Bible Story Library, Volume 5 In this episode Jonah was told by the God to go preach to the people of Nineveh.  First Jonah tried to flee the presence of the Lord by jumping a ship to Tarshish which ended with Jonah in the belly of a fish.  God spared his life and ordered him a second time to go preach to the people of  Nineveh. This time Jonah obeyed and let the people know that the Lord would destroy their city unless they repented, the people repented.  Because this is not the message that Jonah wanted to give to the people of Nineveh, he became angry with God and asked God to let him die, but God did not grant his wish. Jonah wanted a God who would punish evil. Question for the LISTENERS: Can we accept and love God as God is? Thank you for listening!
