I had the privilege of Brad from Stone Cold and Phil M join me on Mismatch to talk about their up coming gig with The Chainsaw Preachers and The Packets. (15th of March 2025) Lots of fun and jocularity was had by all by all accounts of week of extreme heat of weather, but even more heat on the stage , a wonderful night and amazing music. New and up and coming albums coming so look for their music in the the near future...

This chat has to be the most relaxed the boys Danny and Sime have been. Then again this is their 8th visit with me. We talk about their last album "Last Call" released Oct 2024, but more importantly their new venture, Country Hip Hop. Yes you read correctly, Country Hip Hop. An amzing concept and one that the Americans have embraced already, naturally. This will be included in their next EP in the process of coming together. Gav of The Packets chats with Scott and myself, ahead of their up-and-comping album and gigs. We chat about one of our favourite songs from the EP Bad People "Surrounded by Dickheads" When watching them live up on stage they have a comedic performance to match their songs and are impressive and funny on stage plus being great musicians as well...this is their story

We chat with Laken of The Sexels. She talks about their past project Angelik and the road to The Sexels. Scott of the former "Max Radio" and friend of Laken get the opportunity to dive deeper into the makings of the new band. A lot of jocularity was exchanged too :) The members of the band are Laken, Sam, Doyle and Steve.

Steve & Veronica Campbell have a chat with me about Avalanche. Other Members are Ryan and Arthur. They started as a 3 piece they are now 4 piece band. Pete from Chainsaw Preachers drops in to chat about the band, he's the singer/bass player. Daniel who is on drums and guitarist Darren. Their current album is Culture War and worthy of being in your collection. The and hails from Adelaide where there is a strong rock and punk scene. We also have Phil who has dropped in to touch base.

Taylor is a humble and aimable young man with a huge body of musical work behind him. Taylor is about to release his up-and-coming album Troubadour. A story-teller in music he is about to embark on a tour with Jimmy Barnes, where his listener base will grow once again.

Grant and Wayne joined me on Mismatch to discuss their cover band Heatwave. Gary and Jarred make this a foursome (tongue in cheek, lol) They are a cover band and love to have lots of fun and jocularity with their audience. Danny and Sime came in live to the studio for their 7th check-up on the program Mismatch. They have made their stamp on Hip Hop, and their sound, and style are unique... They have had many collaborations over their 14-plus years in this genre and are comfortable in their skins. So, no more from me listen on...

What can I say, what a wonderful chat with my mentor Sean Craig Murphy. Currently at SAfm in Adelaide, he has been a huge part of radio and students at Australian Radio School. I wanted to chat, having not touched base for several years to hear his thoughts on community radio, its place with recruits from his training company, and a whole lot more. He has an amazing voice, he may not think so but it's hit a chord with many listeners, my friends included, who just love him. Please listen you'll learn a lot :) In the end, I am not sure who was interviewing who, lol.

Stone Cold is an Adelaide local rock band. They love what they do and are so supportive of up-and-coming local bands. They love the music and they support awareness of domestic violence. They are now 5. 4 brothers from other mothers and the new member is a sister from another mother. We chat to Brad and Ben.

Glenn Patrick is the frontman for Shotgun Mistress. Consisting of a 4 piece rock band including Matt Wilcock on Guitars, 'Diamond' Dave Lee on Drums, and Ben Curnow on bass.
