Season three comes to a close, as does the alphabetic chapter of File Under: Entertainment, and we send it off the only way we know how; by arguing at length over the hits and (mostly) misses of the season, determining the "best" movie covered in season three. Join Eric, Super Producer/Co-host Jared, from Intern Talking Points and Riley's Parrot , Jake & David from LifeIs Unfair / Real Piece Of Sitcom, (The guysare also part of the incredible Twitch channel, LetsPlay Deathray, where they variety stream all sortsof awesome content, banter back and forth, and interact with their community in amazing ways. Our buddy Mark from Rushing The Field, and newcomer Alissa, as they weed through the 83 films in a seeded tournament across 4 and half hours of hot takes, jokes, and the usual roasts of each other, (and Eric's s****y movie takes). The show will be on Summer hiatus, but we'll be back in the Fall with season 4, sticking with the movie theme but in a slightly different direction as instead of alphabetically, we'll be filing by decade, discussing films from the 1920's through the 2020's. We hope you enjoy the lovely weather with family and friends, and then hunker down with us again as the weather cools, getting your warmth from the usual hot takes that FUE does best. Until then, always remember that you can't go A-Z without F U. Zed's dead, but we're very much alive, baby, in this final alphabetic installment of season three, as we tackle "Z"! It's just Eric and Super Producer/Co-host Jared, from Intern Talking Points and Riley's Parrot talking about a C grade movie focusing on swingers and murder, and an A list animated feature with anthropomorphized animals, and almost as much nudity as the ""erotic thriller"". We went in alphabetical order, talking about: Zebra Lounge (Eric) Zootopia (Jared) "Very Important Questions" is as fun for me, and as groan inducing for Jared, as always. So keep your knickers on in the elevator, grab your Pawpscicles, sidle up alongside Mr. Big, Eric, and Jared, and listen to this episode.....then smash your big screen TV, less out of fear of your sex tape playing in front of your kids, and more out of the knowledge that you just watched Zebra Lounge; and then smash your phone or listening device because you actually dared to listen to us talk about it!! If you, or a loved one, is, or has been affected by sexual violence, please know that there are good people and organizations in the world that can offer help. RAINN is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. NSVRC (national sexual violence research center) has resources to help victims, and, importantly, tips on prevention and warning signs. SPSAmerica is America's leading suicide prevention network. Y oh Y is it so difficult to get through this iteration of the alphabet? A corrupted file (fitting, since so many of these movie picks are "corrupted", right? Wink wink nudge nudge), and issues with Spotify loading mean that this episode is dropping on an atypical day than you are used to seeing in your feed. But again, atypical is probably what you signed up for following this show, and you should be used to it by now. We're joined by Jake & David from Life Is Unfair / Real Piece Of Sitcom, the podcast which has returned (albeit momentarily) to it's Malcolm In The Middle roots! The guys are also part of the incredible Twitch channel, Lets Play Deathray, where they variety stream all sorts of awesome content, banter back and forth, and interact with their community in amazing ways. Super Producer/Co-host Jared, from Intern Talking Points and Riley's Parrot is here as always, with the bitching, drops, and boops and blops. We went in alphabetical order, talking about: Yes Man (Jared) Young Frankenstein (Jake & David shared pick) Young Guns (Eric) "Very Important Questions" is here as always. I'm not active on X anymore, and in any case, polls are down, so I will post the Would You Rather questions in Spotify if you'd like to answer, or, you can always send your response (or anything on your mind) to our e-mail: [email protected] If you, or a loved one, is, or has been affected by sexual violence, please know that there are good people and organizations in the world that can offer help. RAINN is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. NSVRC (national sexual violence research center) has resources to help victims, and, importantly, tips on prevention and warning signs. SPSAmerica is America's leading suicide prevention network. "X" gonna give it to ya. And Eric and Jared are too! (What "it" is is debatable). It's just me and Super Producer/Co-host Jared, from Intern Talking Points and Riley's Parrot talking about low budget sci-fi from the year 2000 that Jared thought was from the '80's, and a trope filled teen drama creature feature that was actually much better than that description gives it credit for. We went in alphabetical order, talking about: Xchange (Eric) Xeno (Jared) "Very Important Questions" is as fun for me, and as groan inducing for Jared, as always. So c'mon "corpie"! "Float" on over and fiddle with your toy car while making questionable decisions.....starting with listening to this episode! Happy New Year 2026! Time to get back to filing, as we near the end of another alphabetic journey! We're joined by Jake from Real Piece Of Sitcom, the podcast going through every sitcom in thematic order, which you can catch up on the backlog as they await the release of the Malcolm In The Middle limited revival series. Jake is also part of the incredible Twitch channel, Lets Play Deathray, where they variety stream all sorts of awesome content, banter back and forth, and interact with their community in amazing ways. This is a "gift" that you might want to return; or at least you'll be thankful that we did the suffering so you don't have to watch it yourself, and the joy you get is our combined misery having watched this piece of "cinema" that is more like something you find on the floor in the Reindeer's stables. We're discussing the Christmas "cult classic" 'Santa Claus Conquers The Martians', which might be less cult classic and more like something a cult uses to deprogram people when they just don't want any more members. ("We only have so many tracksuits...") Joining us is Jake from Real Piece Of Sitcom, the podcast going through every sitcom in thematic order, which you can hear each Thursday. He's also part of the incredible Twitch channel, Lets Play Deathray, where they variety stream all sorts of awesome content, banter back and forth, and interact with their community in amazing ways. And Mark from RUSHING THE FIELD (link below because I'm too lazy to double up), and of course, Super Producer/Co-host Jared, from Intern Talking Points and Riley's Parrot who, you will probably not be surprised, liked the movie. For those brave souls wishing to partake of this madness yourselves, here you go: Santa Claus Conquers The Martians We continue "Very Important Questions" and YOU, the listener, can weigh in on the "would you rather" questions. Not quite as cursed as "P", but this one was also a bit delayed and derailed, but we found a way to get it done! We've joked about "curses" before, but legitimately, this episode is cursed. Due to record way back in January, work schedules, illnesses, and internet issues prevented us getting back to it until late April....and even then the curse proved that it wasn't done with us yet. Eric's audio starts cutting out in parts in the 2nd part of the episode, the internet connection got so bad that we eliminated most talk about The Program (everyone but Eric hated it anyway) and we couldn't do ANY of Very Important Questions. At that point I was just ready to get anything we could out of this episode and move the f**k on. We're joined by Jake (& later David) from Real Piece Of Sitcom, the podcast going through every sitcom in thematic order, which you can hear each Thursday. They are also part of the incredible Twitch channel, Lets Play Deathray, where they variety stream all sorts of awesome content, banter back and forth, and interact with their community in amazing ways. Definitely check that out, they stream every night except Friday and Saturday's around 7:30 PM MST. Super Producer/Co-host Jared, fromIntern Talking Points and Riley's Parrot starts salty, gets satiated and silent in the middle, and ends salty again, the natural order of things. We went in alphabetical order, talking about: Payback (Jared) Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping (Jake) The Princess Bride (David) The Program (Eric) No "Very Important Questions" for the guest this week, but I'll still post them to X where YOU, the listener, can weigh in on the "would you rather" questions.
