Advertise on podcast: Useless Conversations - With Ramy Al Kadhi & Philip Johnston

Adventures in Space, Love & Burns is out! Forty-seven minutes with Philip Johnston, who, in the three years since we last recorded, has raised for Starcloud, started building data centres in orbit, and proposed to his fiancée by writing "I love you to outer space and back" on the outside of his company's first satellite, launching it, and waiting three months for it to pass over Mexico at six in the morning. In the same period, Ramy has left his job, travelled the world, and is raising money for a dating app.

An unscripted, quite useless conversation on quite an interesting topic - being a twin. Given Ramy and Philip are both twins, their thoughts were more useful than usual...which isn't saying much.

This is the best podcast episode in the world, and also the worst. You decide.

In this blockbuster season opener, we reminisce about how truly rubbish Christmas was in 2021, and harp down memory lane to discuss our favourite Christmas stories. There's also a cheeky debate - 'Is Santa real?' Enjoy friends...and apologies.

Don't understand Crypto? Want to? Well, as ridiculous as this podcast may be, our two hosts had a bash at providing wisdom in the world of finance, with a focus on crypto! Would you like to be a millionaire? You're probably about to f**k it all up. But listen away.

In this shit-show, we discuss whether you listening to this podcast is just a computer simulation.

If you believe in Determinism, then you know you had no choice but to be here, listening to this rubbish. If you don't know what Determinism is, then hop along, and hear one useless host (Ramy Al Kadhi), guide the other useless host (Philip Johnston) in explaining Determinism, and why it's something to consider. Or actually, not think about, because everything is determined anyway.

And there you have it, the season finale - if you made it here, we’re sorry and recommend that you see a therapist. This epilogue brings you stories one of the greatest inventions ever made, when karaoke takes political importance and how not to be a landlord. Goodbye, and apologies.

The beginning of the end of your life - the season opener. Post-lock down this episode highlights how love can be found in mysterious places, why economics works, how not to eat fish and what it really is like to live in the Burj Khalifa.
