In this special episode of Raagadri, we journey through the timeless masterpiece Shri Nathadi Guruguho, the very first composition of Sri Muthuswami Dikshitar, set in the majestic raga Mayamalavagowla. Together, we explore the beauty of the raga, the story behind the kriti, and the profound symbolism of Muruga as Guruguha - the Guru who resides in the cave of the heart. Through the insights of the Upanishads, the devotion of Arunagirinathar, the wisdom of Adi Shankaracharya, and Dikshitar's own spiritual vision, this episode reveals how a composition can become a pathway from Bhakti to Self-Knowledge. More than a musical exploration, this is an invitation to reflect, inquire, and discover the light that shines within us all. Om Saravanabhava. 🙏🎶
