The High-Functioning Trap

You know the type - someone who seems to have it all together. They’re productive, reliable, always showing up and getting things done… but inside they’re running on empty, quietly struggling with stress, anxiety, or burnout. 2026/10/15
You know that stretch of time when you’re stuck between where you are and where you want to be? It’s when you’re just waiting for an answer, a breakthrough, or the next chapter to start. It can feel endless, frustrating, even a little maddening. So why is waiting so hard… and what can we actually do with it? Emotional Alchemy and Relationships
2026/10/08
We all experience difficult emotions. The question isn't whether you'll face fear, anger, or disappointment, it's what you'll do with them. Emotional alchemy is learning how to process those emotions in a healthy way, so they become a source of wisdom, resilience, and personal growth rather than something that keeps you stuck. It's about using every experience to become stronger, wiser, and better equipped for what's next. Today on the podcast, I want to welcome back my dear friend Larissa and we’re going to discuss, “Emotional Alchemy and Relationships.” Larissa can be reached on Social Media: https://www.instagram.com/the.art.of.manifesting.love https://www.facebook.com/larissa.swtAs always, you are invited to join the Strive to Thrive Facebook group for a supportive community.... https://www.facebook.com/groups/strivetothrivepage    BTW...If you love this episode, please take a screenshot, share it on your Facebook story and tag me @TonyWechsler  And remember to download the eBook, Strive to Thrive at https://tonywcoaching.com/

Beyond Words: The Unspoken Connection
2026/09/24
Today we’re diving into something most of us feel but rarely talk about: the quiet, powerful ways we feel connected to the people we love—without saying a single word. How do these unspoken bonds form? Why do they matter so much? And how can we become more aware of them in our own relationships? On today’s episode, Tony Wechsler and Chris Krawchuk are going to discuss, “Beyond Words: The Unspoken Connection.”   Chris can be reached at his website: https://intimacyinternational.com/ And on social media at: https://www.facebook.com/chris.krawchuk.14 As always, you are invited to join the Strive to Thrive Facebook group for a supportive community.... https://www.facebook.com/groups/strivetothrivepage    BTW...If you love this episode, please take a screenshot, share it on your Facebook story and tag me @TonyWechsler  And remember to download the eBook, Strive to Thrive at https://tonywcoaching.com/
September 11th - 25 Years Later
2026/09/17
It's hard to believe that a quarter of a century has passed since that morning that changed our country—and, in many ways, changed the world. Today, I don't want to talk about just news. I don't want to debate the events of that day. And I certainly don't want to sensationalize one of the darkest days in our nation's history. Instead, I want to remember. So let's remember, pay tribute to the heroes of that day, and most importantly, I also want to leave you with something positive. Because even in the middle of tragedy, there were incredible examples of courage, compassion, sacrifice, and humanity. Feel free to email me at [email protected] and send me your stories about that tragic day. As always, you are invited to join the Strive to Thrive Facebook group for a supportive community.... https://www.facebook.com/groups/strivetothrivepage    BTW...If you love this episode, please take a screenshot, share it on your Facebook story and tag me @TonyWechsler  And remember to download the eBook, Strive to Thrive at https://tonywcoaching.com/
Reclaiming the Human Spirit in an AI World
2026/09/10
In a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, the question is not how we compete with these machines, but how we remain fully human alongside them. As humans, our capacity for presence, empathy, creativity, and meaning still defines us in ways no algorithm can duplicate.  So how do we compete and still honor that humanness in everyday life. On today’s episode, Tony Wechsler and Andrea Fung are going to discuss, “Reclaiming the Human Spirit in an AI World.” Andrea can best be reached through her FB Page: https://www.facebook.com/Andi.FWL And be sure to check out her previous episode: https://open.spotify.com/episode/77JyBVeWBv7q6QkMuyIjdn As always, you are invited to join the Strive to Thrive Facebook group for a supportive community.... https://www.facebook.com/groups/strivetothrivepage    BTW...If you love this episode, please take a screenshot, share it on your Facebook story and tag me @TonyWechsler  And remember to download the eBook, Strive to Thrive at https://tonywcoaching.com/
The Art of Fearless Decision-Making
2026/09/03
Most of us don’t struggle with making decisions because we lack information. We struggle because we’re afraid of getting it wrong, or maybe we’re afraid of what other people will think. But how do we learn to quiet that fear, trust ourselves more, and start choosing with clarity instead of hesitation. On today’s episode, Tony Wechsler and Rolanda Michele are going to discuss “The Art of Fearless Decision-Making.” Rolanda can be reached on Social Media: https://www.facebook.com/rolandamichele1https://www.instagram.com/rolandamichelehttps://www.youtube.com/@RolandaMichele As always, you are invited to join the Strive to Thrive Facebook group for a supportive community.... https://www.facebook.com/groups/strivetothrivepage    BTW...If you love this episode, please take a screenshot, share it on your Facebook story and tag me @TonyWechsler  And remember to download the eBook, Strive to Thrive at https://tonywcoaching.com/
The Animal's Voice
2026/08/27
What if the animals in our lives have been trying to talk to us all along, and we’ve only just begun to listen? Today I’m delighted to be joined by a gifted animal communicator whose work is dedicated to bridging that gap and helping people hear what their dogs, cats, and other animal companions truly want us to know. How to Defog Your Brain
2026/08/13
Picture this: You walk into a room and forget why. You read the same sentence three times. Your mind feels… fuzzy. That’s brain fog, and millions are experiencing it right now. Brain fog is like an invisible cloud that dims your mental clarity, steals your focus, and leaves you feeling mentally exhausted. On today’s episode, I want to welcome back my amazing friend Dr. Lexi Watson to discuss…. "How to Defog Your Brain." The Art of Not Settling
2026/08/06
Settling is the passive acceptance of a suboptimal situation, such as an unfulfilling job, a stale relationship, or a mediocre routine, simply because it feels safer than change. It’s normally driven by a fear of the unknown or the false belief that you can’t do any better. Contrary to popular belief, a predictable, settled life is often more exhausting than one filled with growth. When you settle, you miss out on the natural energy boost that comes from pursuing passions and exploring what makes you truly happy. On today’s episode, Tony Wechsler and Lonnie Mitchell are going to discuss, "The Art of Not Settling." Lonnie can be reached on Social Media: https://www.instagram.com/lonniemitchell_https://www.facebook.com/aine.mitchell2https://www.tiktok.com/@lonniemitchell_ As always, you are invited to join the Strive to Thrive Facebook group for a supportive community.... https://www.facebook.com/groups/strivetothrivepage    BTW...If you love this episode, please take a screenshot, share it on your Facebook story and tag me @TonyWechsler  And remember to download the eBook, Strive to Thrive at https://tonywcoaching.com/
The Power of Letting Go
2026/07/30
Holding on to resentment, pain, or the past can quietly keep us stuck and exhausted. But when we learn to truly let go, we create space for peace, clarity, and a lighter, freer life. It’s often the missing piece that allows real healing and forward movement to begin. On today’s episode, my amazing friend Sacha and I are going to discuss “The Power of letting Go.” Sacha can be reached at: https://sachalalla.com/ or feel free to email her at [email protected] As always, you are invited to join the Strive to Thrive Facebook group for a supportive community.... https://www.facebook.com/groups/strivetothrivepage    BTW...If you love this episode, please take a screenshot, share it on your Facebook story and tag me @TonyWechsler  And remember to download the eBook, Strive to Thrive at https://tonywcoaching.com/
Episode 300: Work on Your Strengths
2026/07/23
Ever since we were children, we’ve been conditioned to work on our weaknesses. If our math skills were bad, we were told to work on math instead of reading. While those who taught us were probably well meaning, working on our weaknesses is not  always the best way to truly succeed.  In business, if you’re not good at bookkeeping, you can hire a great bookkeeper. And we can always hire someone to design our website if we’re not tech savvy. What we need to be working on is our strengths. This is how you excel in life and in business. But before we work on them, we need to know what they are. In honor of my 300th episode, today we have two guests instead of one. On today’s podcast, Janel Otto, Erik Forrester and I are going to discuss how to Work on Your Strengths. Janel can be reached on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@janelotto or Skool at https://www.skool.com/@janel-otto-9155 You can also check out here book on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B5RWKVTX?lv=shuf&channelId=500&plpRedirect=mhFallback Erik can be reached at [email protected] or find him on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/erik.forrester.27 Check out Clifton Strengths here: As always, you are invited to join the Strive to Thrive Facebook group for a supportive community.... https://www.facebook.com/groups/strivetothrivepage    BTW...If you love this episode, please take a screenshot, share it on your Facebook story and tag me @TonyWechsler  And remember to download the eBook, Strive to Thrive at https://tonywcoaching.com/
