Description
Tune in for weekly messages and content from Elevate City Church. For too long the church has been known for what they’re against. We want to make it explicitly clear who we are for. We are for Jesus. For his glory. For his ways. For his gospel. For his Kingdom. Jesus is who we want to shine the spot light on. Jesus is the story we want to tell. Jesus is the banner we want to raise. At Elevate City, the primary topic of conversation is Jesus: Jesus’ story, Jesus’ character. Jesus’ ways. Jesus’ teachings. We want to introduce you to the power that is found in Jesus' name.

The Healing of the Nobleman's Son | Come & See | John 4: 43-54
2026/09/28
In this teaching from our "Come and See" series through the Gospel of John, we look at Jesus' second miracle, healing a dying boy from 17 miles away with nothing but a spoken word (John 4:43-54). A desperate father, a royal official likely serving in Herod's court, begs Jesus to heal his son, and Jesus responds by simply saying, "Go, your son will live." We unpack why Jesus healed at a distance, what it means that this father had to believe before he could see, and the striking parallel between this second sign and Jesus' first miracle at the wedding in Cana. This message explores what it looks like to have faith that doesn't depend on signs and wonders, why our most desperate seasons often form us more deeply than our comfortable ones, and how Jesus cares just as much about healing our souls as he does about healing our circumstances. Whether you're waiting on an answer to prayer, wrestling with unanswered questions, or wanting a deeper study of the Gospel of John, this message will help you see Jesus like you've never seen him before.
The Woman at the Well | Come & See | John 4
2026/09/21
In this teaching from our "Come and See" series through the Gospel of John, we explore one of the most beautiful and scandalous stories in all of Scripture: Jesus and the Woman at the Well in John 4. Discover why Jesus intentionally walked through Samaria, a place Jews avoided at all costs, to have the longest recorded conversation of his ministry with a woman society had cast aside. We unpack the meaning of "living water," why this woman came to the well alone in the middle of the day, the surprising truth about her "five husbands," and how Jesus moves from confronting her deepest shame to revealing himself as the Messiah. This message explores themes of racism, rejection, identity, and the ache for something in life to finally satisfy, and shows how Jesus meets us exactly where we are, knows everything about us, and loves us anyway. Whether you're carrying shame, searching for acceptance, or just want a deeper study of the Gospel of John, this teaching will help you see Jesus like you've never seen him before.
Is Jesus Better Than Your Dreams? | Come & See | John 3:22-36
2026/09/13
In this teaching from our "Come and See" series through the Gospel of John, we look at what happens when your dreams get crushed and ask the question: is Jesus really enough? In John 3:22-36, John the Baptist watches the crowds leave him for Jesus, the very thing he built his life around is suddenly being taken away, and yet he responds with joy instead of jealousy. We explore what it means to know your role instead of trying to be the star, the ancient wedding tradition of the "friend of the bridegroom" and what it teaches us about pointing to Jesus instead of ourselves, and the difference between a self-focused life and a Jesus-focused life. Whether you're wrestling with unmet expectations, watching someone else "live your dream," or just tired of a culture that says happiness comes from self-improvement, this message will help you see how real joy is found when Jesus increases and we decrease.
Six Invitations to Come & See | Come & See | John 3: 1-21
2026/09/06
In this teaching from our "Come and See" series through the Gospel of John, we dive into one of the most important conversations in all of Scripture: Jesus and Nicodemus in John 3. Discover why a respected religious leader who "knew all the answers" came to Jesus in secret, and why Jesus told him that knowing about God isn't the same as knowing God. We explore six powerful invitations woven through this conversation: seeing the unseen Kingdom of God, what it truly means to be "born again," the mysterious work of the Holy Spirit compared to the wind, Jesus' claim to speak of heavenly things, the connection between Jesus on the cross and the bronze serpent in Numbers 21, and finally the most famous verse in the Bible, John 3:16. Whether you're wrestling with doubt like Nicodemus, trying to earn your way to God through religion, or simply want a deeper study of what it means to be born again, this message will help you see Jesus like you've never seen him before.
Cleanse the Temple | Come & See | John 2:13-25
2026/08/31
In this teaching from our "Come and See" series through the Gospel of John, we look at one of the most surprising scenes in Jesus' life — Jesus overturning tables and driving out money-changers in the temple in John 2:13-25. Just one chapter after turning water into wine at a wedding, Jesus shows a radically different side of himself: righteous anger, holy zeal, and a fierce protection of what his Father's house was meant to be. We dig into why Jesus cleansed the temple, what the money-changers and sacrificial animal sellers were really doing wrong, the connection between Passover and the Exodus story, and the stunning claim Jesus makes about himself — that he is the new and greater temple, the true meeting place between God and humanity. This message challenges the "soft, cuddly" version of Jesus many of us grew up with and reveals a Savior who is both full of grace and full of truth — a bridegroom who fills our tables and a King who isn't afraid to flip them. If you've ever wrestled with reconciling the gentle Jesus with the zealous Jesus, or want a deeper study of the Gospel of John, this teaching will help you see Jesus like you've never seen him before.
Random Acts of Abundance | Come & See | John 2: 1-12
2026/08/24
In this teaching from our "Come and See" series through the Gospel of John, we dive into John 2:1-12 and Jesus' first miracle — turning water into wine at the Wedding at Cana in Galilee. Discover why Jesus' inaugural sign wasn't a healing or an exorcism but a party trick to save a wedding from embarrassment, and what that reveals about a God of abundance, joy, and celebration. We unpack the deep symbolism behind the "third day," the six stone purification jars, the significance of Jesus' words to his mother Mary, and how this miracle points forward to the new covenant, communion, and the transformation Jesus offers each of us — turning empty lives, empty marriages, and empty hope into something new. Whether you're studying the Gospel of John, exploring the meaning of Jesus' first miracle, or looking for a fresh take on faith, abundance, and grace, this message will help you see Jesus like you've never seen him before.
Behold the Lamb | Come and See | John 1:19-51
2026/08/16
Everybody was coming out to the desert to see John the Baptist — and John kept pointing past himself. "I'm not that guy. But I know the guy."In week 3 of Come & See, we meet the first witness John calls to the stand: John the Baptist. A wild, camel-hair-wearing, locust-eating preacher who drew the biggest crowd Israel had seen in 400 years — and used every bit of that influence to say one word: Behold. Look at the Lamb. We'll unpack what "Lamb of God" would have meant to ears shaped by the sacrificial system, why John's real message might not be what you've always been told, and how two disciples asking "where are you staying?" got an invitation that started a chain reaction: Andrew found Simon, Philip found Nathanael, and the world has never been the same.Because here's the recipe of the Christian revolution — ordinary men and women who invite others to Come & See.So who's your Nathanael?
Who Is Jesus, Really? | Come and See | John 1:1–18
2026/08/10
Who is Jesus?
John doesn’t begin his Gospel with Bethlehem, a manger, or even the ministry of Jesus. He takes us all the way back to the beginning.
“In the beginning was the Word…”
Before creation, Jesus was there. He is the Word. He is the Light. He is the Creator. And the incredible news of the Gospel is that the eternal God stepped into His creation and dwelt among us.
In week one of COME AND SEE, we open John 1:1–18 and begin answering the most important question we could ever ask: Who is Jesus?
Come and see.

As Long As It Takes | A Sermon on Luke 18:1-8
2026/07/26
As we conclude our House of Prayer series, Pastor Joe challenges us to become people who pray as long as it takes. Looking at Jesus' parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18, this message reminds us that persistent prayer isn't about convincing a reluctant God—it's about trusting a loving Father who hears every prayer. Whether His answer is yes, wait, grow, or no, we can continue to seek Him with confidence, knowing He is faithful, powerful, and always working, even when we can't see it. If you've been discouraged in the waiting or tempted to give up praying, this message will encourage you to keep asking, keep trusting, and keep believing in the God for whom nothing is impossible.

In the first message of our House of Prayer series, Pastor Joe Baker unpacks four biblical reasons why every believer needs to pray. Discover how prayer isn't just a command from God, but the pathway to His presence, His power, and a deeper relationship with Him. Whether prayer feels natural or you've struggled to know where to begin, this message will challenge and encourage you to take your next step toward becoming a person of prayer—and together, a church marked by the presence of God.

2026/07/06
How do ordinary believers become part of an extraordinary movement of God? On LDP Takeover Sunday, Louis Leidenfrost—Discipleship Director at Elevate City Church and a graduate of the Leadership Development Program (LDP)—shares his powerful testimony and unpacks 2 Timothy 2 to reveal God's strategy for making disciples who make disciples. Through the biblical examples of the soldier, athlete, and farmer, this message challenges every Christian to embrace a lifestyle of discipleship, spiritual multiplication, and wholehearted devotion to Jesus. Whether you're new to following Christ or ready to take your next step in the Great Commission, this sermon will encourage you to invest in others, stay faithful in every season, and join the mission of seeing lives transformed by the gospel.

In the final message of our Half-Hearted series, Pastor Joe Baker challenges us to move beyond casual Christianity and pursue a wholehearted devotion to Jesus. Through 2 Peter 1, we discover that spiritual growth doesn't happen by accident—it requires intentional effort, daily surrender, and a growing hunger to know God more. Pastor Joe unpacks how qualities like faith, virtue, self-control, steadfastness, godliness, and love serve as a spiritual barometer for our hearts, helping us recognize when our faith has stalled and calling us back to wonder, intimacy, and wholehearted discipleship. No matter where you are in your journey, this message is an invitation to remember what Jesus has done, reignite your passion for Him, and never get over the gospel.
The Father Heart of God | A Sermon on Galatians 4:1-7
2026/06/21
What does it mean to truly know the heart of God as Father? In this powerful message, The Father Heart of God, Peachtree Corners Campus Pastor Thomas Cheeseman explores how many believers live with an "orphan heart"—striving, performing, and longing for love—while God invites us into the security of sonship. Through Galatians 4 and personal testimony, Pastor Thomas reveals the life-changing truth that through Jesus, we are adopted as sons and daughters of God, fully loved, fully accepted, and invited to call Him "Abba, Father." Whether you're carrying wounds, bitterness, abandonment, or simply longing to know God more deeply, this message will remind you that the Father's love heals, restores, and gives you a permanent seat at His table. Come encounter the perfect love of the Father and discover what it means to live wholeheartedly as His child.
Heart for the Word | A Sermon on Cultivating Love for the Bible
2026/06/14
What does it look like to have a wholehearted love for God in a world full of distractions? In this message from the Half-Hearted series, Pastor Caden Dulmage challenges us to develop a heart for the word by rediscovering the power, authority, and beauty of Scripture. Through Isaiah 66, 2 Timothy 3, and the story of the disciples on the road to Emmaus, we are reminded that spiritual growth doesn't come from simply doing more for God—it comes from being transformed by His Word. This sermon explores what it means to tremble at Scripture, train ourselves in godliness, and find Jesus on every page of the Bible. If you've struggled with distraction, spiritual apathy, or a fading passion for God's Word, this message is an invitation to return to your first love and become a person of the Book.
