The original Eros In The Mind's Ear, released in 2012, marked one of the earliest chapters of my journey as a mix compiler. To my surprise, it became one of my most listened-to and downloaded mixes. The appreciation it received gave me the confidence to believe that perhaps I was doing something right. More importantly, it ignited a passion that has continued to shape every mix I've shared since. Over the years, the original grew into something deeply personal. I came to regard it as one of those rare moments that felt complete in its own right—a musical statement I never imagined revisiting. For a long time, I believed that anything I created afterwards would struggle to capture the same magic, so I chose to let it remain exactly as it was. But time has a way of changing perspective. Fourteen years later, I found myself drawn back to that space—not to recreate the past, but to honour it. Eros In The Mind's Ear – Part 2 is a continuation of that journey, shaped by years of musical discovery, personal growth, and an enduring love for soulful, thought-provoking sounds. A few mixes ago, I reposted the original edition on my HearThis page for anyone who wishes to revisit—or experience for the first time—the mix that quietly became the foundation of so much that followed. For my sons!!! Whether this new chapter resonates as deeply as the first is not for me to decide. That judgment belongs entirely to you, the listener. As always, your comments, likes, shares, and continued support are sincerely appreciated. I hope you enjoy this renewed journey, and perhaps, hear something that speaks not only to the ears, but also to the mind. — Msendy's Deep Perspectives

Fellow house mates, I will be closing the year with this mix. Closing off with Floor Moods has become somewhat of a tradition since the festive season has begun (summer vibes in the southern hemisphere). Take care of your loved ones and more importantly, take time and spend it together.
