What About You is a podcast of one to one conversations with Richard Moore, who was shot and blinded in 1972 during the Northern Ireland conflict when he was 10 years old. The podcast focuses on a variety of human stories which are inspirational, challenging, humorous and sometimes sad. At 28 years old, Ala was living with his family in Aden, Yemen, when he was forced to flee—for his safety and for the chance to build a new life. Yemen, located at the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula, is bordered by Saudi Arabia, Oman, and has been described as a breathtaking coastline along the Arabian and Red Seas. Yet, since 2014, Yemen has been devastated by conflict. Nine years of war has resulted in a major humanitarian crisis. Over 4 million Yemenis are internally displaced, 17 million face food insecurity, and millions - especially women and children - suffer from malnutrition.
