Exodus | Week 4: Sent Back to Egypt
2026/10/01
Week 4 of Exodus Study About This Study“Blessed be the Lord, who has delivered you.” —Exodus 18:10 With that introduction, we enter into the story of the Hebrew people in the book of Exodus. The exodus of the Israelites shapes our understanding of the whole Bible, its themes reverberating all the way to Revelation. Exodus is the birth narrative of a nation unmistakably guided by the Great Deliverer.  Over an 11-week verse-by-verse study of Exodus 1–18, we will see that Israel’s story is our story: the same God who delivered Israel also delivers all those He loves from slavery to sin and from service to the pharaohs of this world. He lifts our eyes to the promised land He has prepared where we dwell with I AM and worship Him as the one true God. We hope you will join us as we lift our eyes to our great Deliverer. About the CurriculumThe Bible study is originally written by Jen Wilkin and can be found here. About Redeemer Women & Redeemer Community ChurchRedeemer exists to celebrate and declare the gospel of God as they grow in knowing and following Jesus Christ. We are located in Avondale, an historic neighborhood just outside of downtown Birmingham, AL. You can find out more about our church at rccbirmingham.org. You can reach our team at [email protected].

The Sermon on the Mount | Week 8 - Do Unto Others
2025/10/23
Week 8 of The Sermon on the Mount StudyDo Unto Others • Matthew 7:1-12 About This StudyIn His sweeping depiction of kingdom citizenship, Jesus utters some of the most familiar passages in all of Scripture. Most of us have only encountered the Sermon on the Mount in fragments, considering its subdivisions as complete teachings in their own right—a study on blessedness; a reflection on the Lord’s Prayer; a discussion of religious devotion, money, ambition, and relationships. Redeemer Women will study these three chapters in Matthew as they were originally heard. We will see them as one cohesive, well-ordered message, intended to challenge us to think differently about what it means to be a follower of Jesus. We hope you will join us and learn from Jesus, just as His disciples did. About the CurriculumThe Bible study is originally written by Jen Wilkin and can be found here.
