So stop striving and start living in joyful response to His grace! Key truth: We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus alone—no additives, no exceptions, no chains.

Good morning, church family! Today, in our Sunday School Superheroes series, we explore John the Baptist—a bold, unconventional prophet who prepared the way for Jesus. Born for This – Even before his birth, John was set apart for God’s purpose (Luke 1:13-15). Like John, we are created on purpose and for a purpose (Ephesians 2:10). A Big Voice in a Declining Culture – John fearlessly called people to repentance (Matthew 3:2), even challenging religious leaders and King Herod. His voice pointed to truth, just as we’re called to speak boldly yet with grace (Romans 1:16). "Get Ready!" – John’s ministry prepared hearts for Jesus. True repentance leads to real life change (Acts 3:19). Today, we too must examine our hearts and prepare for Christ’s return. Jesus: The Ultimate Hero – John pointed to Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away sin. His mission was to decrease so Christ could increase (John 3:30). Let’s embrace our purpose, speak truth, and point others to Jesus. If you need to surrender your life to Him today, don’t wait—He’s calling you now!

We’re continuing our Sunday School Superheroes series, where we’ve explored Moses and Daniel. Today, we dive into the life of Samson—set apart by God for a purpose, yet entangled in pride and compromise. Samson’s story reminds us that God’s calling requires obedience. Though his choices led to destruction, his greatest moment of strength came not from his power but from his surrender to God. No matter our past mistakes, God’s grace is still at work. Samson’s redemption foreshadows Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice—offering us the chance to turn back and walk in God’s purpose.

Good morning, church! Today, we continue our Sunday School Superheroes series with Daniel—a young man who stood firm in his faith despite intense pressure. Though he's not named in Hebrews 11, he’s among the "prophets" who stood as heroes of faith. Daniel’s story teaches us to stand firm in faith despite trials. Hebrews 12:1-2 urges us to fix our eyes on Jesus and throw off anything that hinders us. 1. DETERMINED NOT TO DEFILE (Daniel 1:8) Daniel chose obedience before the test came. Biblical convictions must be set in advance. 👉 Psalm 119:11: "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." 2. AFTER EVERYTHING—STAND (Daniel 3:17-18) Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow. Faith stands firm, no matter the cost. 👉 Ephesians 6:13: "After you have done everything, to stand." 3. THERE'S A FRIEND IN THE FIRE God was with them in the furnace. Trials refine us, but we’re never alone. 4. DEVELOP HABITS THAT MAKE HEROES Daniel’s daily habits—prayer, faithfulness, and integrity—prepared him for the lion’s den. Spiritual disciplines create unshakable faith. 👉 Daniel 6:10: "He went home to his upstairs room… and three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed." Conclusion Stand firm, trust God, and develop habits that make heroes of faith!
