In Romans 9–10, Paul reveals a tragic truth: the people who knew God’s law best still missed the salvation standing right in front of them. But like Israel, we often choose comfort, safety, and the patterns we know instead of stepping into God’s calling. We live in this world of suffering but not without the help of the Holy Spirit. We can walk in confidence that nothing will keep us from the love of God. We have an eager hope of whats to come. Romans 7 exposes something every believer feels: the internal war between what we know is right and what we actually do.
