Keep Your Eyes On Your Own Plate (S2E12)
2022/06/13
Mind your business! That's what this episode is basically about. Let her do what she has found in order to live her healthy life without you telling her it's not correct. We all have our opinions on what is right and what is wrong. That is a good thing. That opinion, however, is yours for you! Not for her. Quite often, as Molly speaks about being guilty of in the past, we regurgitate what we hear. As opposed to learning for ourselves what is true and what is not true. The hope that Ashley and Molly have with this episode is that you can learn from their mistakes. Be open to evolve. Allow others to live their own journey without feeling the need to pipe in on what you think about what they are doing or not doing. Keto On Vacation (S2E11)
2022/05/30
School is out! Vacations are being planned. If you are on a weightloss journey, how will you handle your way of eating during your vacation? In this episode, Ashley and Molly discuss 3 options one has, while living a keto/low carb lifestyle, when they go on vacation. They both share their experiences with vacations and how they chose to handle their way of eating. (music credit: Creative Commons Music by Jason Shaw on audioautix.com)
Curating Your Virtual Space (S2E10)
2022/05/16
When it comes to social media, did you know that you are the one who is ultimately controlling what you see? It's true. When you like, follow and save something - over time - whatever the theme is that you are attracted to is suggested to you more and more. So if you're seeing negativity on social media - change your environment. If you are following influencers who, by watching their lives, cause you to feel bad about your life - stop following them. There is good, bad and ugly on social media...just like in the every day world around us. It can take a toll on us if we aren't smart consumers. There is also a lot of fakestagram happening. Being aware will help you to stop coveting the "perfect" ones you're seeing out there. Also - remember that just because someone isn’t sharing everything about their lives does NOT mean they are fake. There is a such thing as over sharing - which Ashley and Molly get into. Molly was an open book - over sharing everything - for most of her life. Well, almost everything. Not the dirty little secrets she didn’t want anyone to know. Ashley helps Molly understand, like no therapist has before, why she did that for so long. Not because Ashley’s a therapist, but because Ashley was the same way. (The ladies never speak from a place of expertise. Only experience. Today’s episode is no exception. While they do get into the psychology of it, they are not giving medical/professional advice. Seek help by a licensed pro if you resonate with what they speak of.) At the end of the day, social media gives you exactly what you're looking for. Be a smart consumer when it comes to social media. Protect your peace. (music credit: Creative Commons Music by Jason Shaw on audioautix.com)
Life Happens Even When You're Keto (S2E9)
2022/04/25
There will ALWAYS be something that could be a justification to not start your self health journey. There will always be challenges in life. And if you decide to become your best self based on the convenience of your life, you will never become all you can be. Whether you are on a keto journey, low carb journey, fitness journey, self love journey.. ANY self improvement journey.. you MUST become determined in order to improve yourself. You can't rely on convenience. This is a tough love episode... you have been warned. (music credit: Creative Commons Music by Jason Shaw on audioautix.com)
Keto Diet VS Keto Lifestyle(S2E8)
2022/04/11
You may feel like you're having a little Déjà vu if you see this title and think back to Season 1 episode 7 titled Diet Mentality VS Lifestyle. However, today's episode Ashley and Molly are specifically speaking of the Keto Diet VS a Keto Lifestyle. There may be a reason to diet and the ladies discuss when one might decide they must diet. The bottom line is, though, don't let anyone tell you what you need to do. Ashley and Molly both share their regrets when they first began their Keto journey. SPECIAL GUEST JENNI RAE (S2E7)

KEEPING IT REAL (S2E6)
2022/03/14
By now, you must know that this podcast is all about keeping it real. Today's episode is specifically on keeping it real - with yourself! It's very easy to lie to oneself as they travel the road to success in whatever it is they are reaching for. As you listen to today's episode, maybe do some self evaluation. If you are on a weight loss journey and you made your plan, are you truly sticking to your plan? Are you tracking everything you are eating? Are you leaving things out because it looks better on your tracker? Are you eating in secret? If no one saw it, it didn't count? Both Ashley and Molly share their experiences with living in denial. One thing they both have learned in life - you MUST be real. All success begins with being honest... and the honesty must be directed toward self first. You can continue deceiving yourself, but if you do - you will not reach your goals. (music credit: Creative Commons Music by Jason Shaw on audioautix.com)
ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL (S2E5)
2022/02/28
Keto is unhealthy. You should try intuitive eating. You aren't losing weight because you're keto. You're losing weight because you're in a calorie deficit. CICO is all you need to be focused on if you want to lose weight. Keto is not sustainable. How can you never eat bread or fruit again? Have you heard these opinions swimming out there on social media and internet articles? We sure have. It amazes us how much hate Keto gets from so many folks - who likely aren't even educated or experienced in keto to even be qualified to give the advice they are giving. Yes there are loads of opinions out there. And here's one of ours - personal experience speaks volumes over book knowledge. When it comes to weight loss - it is NOT a one size fits all answer. If you want to learn more about Keto, go to someone who has studied keto. Don't listen to those who make their (strong) opinions based on their limited understanding. The truth is, if those folks actually understood what Keto was all about, they would not speak of it like they do. Listen in on us discussing the way we used to keto versus how we keto now. As well as, we discuss the things we see and hear about Keto that baffle us. (music credit: Creative Commons Music by Jason Shaw on audioautix.com)
RECIPE FOR SUCCESS (S2E4)
2022/02/14
We see something. We like something. We want to know how to create it. We want the recipe. We want the plan. We want the secret of success to be handed to us so that we can duplicate it and have the same success. Well - that's what this episode will give to you! So listen up and you may just FINALLY learn the secret of success. Ashley and Molly are freely giving you the recipe for success! The question is, will you decide to receive it? (music credit: Creative Commons Music by Jason Shaw on audioautix.com)
WEIGHTLOSS IS HARD (S2E3)
2022/01/31
Tell us something we didn't know, right? It IS hard and this was no exception for Ashley and Molly. Both have each had their own weightloss story and on today's episode they discuss the ups and downs while trying to lose weight. Ashley has lost close to 100 pounds after having 2 babies and dealing with hormonal issues, including post partum depression, after the second child was born. Molly has lost and gained weight 3 times in 3 decades after each decade brought her a baby. Weightloss got a little harder with each kid and as she got older. Listen in as they discuss their personal journey with the difficult times they experienced with the goal of losing weight. (music credit: Creative Commons Music by Jason Shaw on audioautix.com)
ACCOUNTABILITY (S2E2)
2022/01/17
We need it. But we don't always want it. ACCOUNTABLITY. Accountability helps us to show up consistently and be honest about what we are doing. Devoting yourself to yourself on a daily basis is what accountability truly is. It is taking ownership of what it is that you are working toward. Tracking your data, as in, weighing yourself and tracking your activity is one way of holding yourself accountable and studies have shown that it gives you a greater chance of success in losing weight. Another form of accountability is sharing your journey with others. Be it in your day to day life with an accountability partner, or having an online community to help you hold yourself accountable. Having that support helps you because others believe in you when you can't believe in yourself. (music credit: Creative Commons Music by Jason Shaw on audioautix.com)
