On June 9, 2023, John Harris, TFA Executive Director, discussed with Michael Patrick Leahy and Crom Carmichael on The Tennessee Star Report (WLAC Nashville) the new development in the Covenant Manifesto case where the parents of the deceased shooter have announced that they are in the process of transferring ownership of their daughter's writings, including the "manifesto", to the Covenant School Parents.

On April 25, 2023, John Harris, TFA Executive  discusses with Matt Murphy (WTN 99.7FM) why Gov. Lee's proposal is a RED FLAG law.  The conversation focuses on why a likely unconstitutional gun control proposal is likely to fail and why the real emphasis needs to be on addressing the mental health issues that some claim are the root cause of at least some mass public shootings. 

On April 25, 2023, Governor Bill Lee joins Matt Murphy on WTN 99.7FM in an effort to explain his claims that he is a strong 2nd Amendment supporter and why he claims that his proposed Red Flag law is not a Red Flag law at all.    It is just astounding that Gov. Lee claims that his Red Flag proposal would strengthen 2nd Amendment rights!

WTN 99.7 FM's Matt Murphy discusses the problems with Red Flag laws with TFA's John Harris.  They discuss the constitutional limits on a government's ability to enact Red Flag laws and why Red Flag laws are favor by gun control advocates rather than solutions that focus on identifying and treating individuals with mental health issues who are an immediate risk of harm to themselves or others. 

April 13, 2023 -  Nashville' WTN 99.7 FM morning host Dan Mandis talks Red Flag laws with John Harris.  They discuss Governor Bill Lee's proposal on April 11, 2023, that the Tennessee Legislature pass a Red Flag law this year for him to sign in order to allow law enforcement to seize guns from individuals.
