Reframe the Picture Series
What if the hardest part of your life isn’t just what happened, but the story you’ve been telling yourself about it? Pain teaches, but it can also lie. In this episode, we discuss the 3 stories we been telling ourselves after obstacles. These are stories that quietly shape how you see yourself and the world. It’s time to stop letting old stories continue to rule your future and begin reframing the picture with clarity and purpose.
Many of us don’t live from what actually happened, we live from what we decided it meant. These stories feel true and they quietly shape how we see ourselves, our past, and our future.
In this episode, we discuss the 3 stories we tell ourselves:
This is my faultSomething is wrong with meBecause of this, I’m disqualifiedI invite you to pause, stop judging yourself while re-evaluating where you are to notice the lens you’ve been looking through.
You’ll hear how survival stories can create shame and doubt - and how awareness is the first step toward clarity and freedom to start seeing your stories differently.
This episode is for anyone ready to stop letting old stories that aren’t true control their lives.
If you’re ready to see yourself — and your story — with more clarity, take this moment for yourself and begin seeing your life through a new lens.

You Don’t Need a New Life - You Need a New Lens

What if the life you’re praying to escape is actually trying to teach you how to see?
You’ve been asking Why me?
Not because you’re broken, but because you’ve been only looking at the pain, obstacles, and survival.
In this Part 1 of my Reframe the Picture series, I will introduce what I found and believe to be a grounding truth that sets the tone for the entire journey ahead: that transformation doesn’t always require a new life — sometimes it requires a new way of seeing the one you’re already in with a different lens.
Most people who have reached a level of success will tell you they all didn’t start out with a million-dollar vision but with survival. This episode explores how reframing isn’t about erasing pain, rushing healing, or pretending it didn’t hurt. It’s about reframing the meaning so clarity, compassion, and direction can return.
This episode is an invitation to pause the pressure to fix everything and instead, gently ask what this season may be forming in you.
In this episode, we’re talking about:
Why rushing to fix things in your life can keep you stuck. What reframing really is — and what it isn’t.How pain can distort your perspective. Why renewing your mind doesn’t mean denying reality.Learning to slow down to see your current season with grace. In this episode I will lay the foundation for the Reframe the Picture method an 8 part series designed to help you see yourself - and your story - and your future - clearly again.

Reframing the Next Chapter: Leave the Boxes - Keep the Lessons
2026/08/06
Send us Fan Mail
Every new chapter asks the same question: What are you taking with you and what are you finally ready to leave behind?
After thirteen episodes of Reframe the Picture, one thing has become clear: changing your perspective is only the beginning. The real transformation happens when you start living from that new perspective every day.
In this special conversation, I'm sharing why Reframe the Picture has grown into something bigger than a podcast and how we’re building a community that helps you practice reframing everyday life.
Remember: Reframe the Picture isn't about changing your past. It's about changing what you carry into your future.
In this episode:
• Why a new season won't feel new if you bring old thinking with you.
• Why progress not perfection is what creates lasting change.
• A look at what's next for the Reframe the Picture.
Because when you change the frame - you change what becomes possible

Reframe the Picture Series - 12
How many decisions have you put on hold because you were waiting for the right time, the right person, or someone else's approval?
The truth is, the life you've been hoping for isn't waiting on more confidence—it's waiting on one brave decision.
In this episode, we're talking about what it really means to trust yourself, make the next brave decision, and stop waiting until you feel ready. We’’ll also cover how your growth can affect the people you love, how to invite them into the journey with you, and why the healthiest relationships are the ones that grow together.
Your life doesn't change because you finally feel fearless. It changes because you decide your future is worth more than your fear.
It's time to stop waiting—and start living.

The Hardest Part of Growth No One Talks About

Reframe the Picture Series - Pt 11
Have you ever noticed you’re changing, but you can’t fully explain how or felt felt like you've outgrown something, but couldn't explain why?
Have you ever looked around and thought, "Why does this feel different now?”
The people haven't changed. The situations haven't changed. But you changed.
In this episode, we're talking about one of the most unexpected parts of growth: what happens when you can no longer connect to things the way you used to. We'll explore why some relationships feel different, why certain conversations drain you now, and why outgrowing old patterns can feel uncomfortable ven when it's exactly what you're supposed to do.
Because sometimes growth isn't about becoming someone new. It's about finally recognizing that you're not the same person anymore and learning to trust that - that is a good thing.

When Your Life Starts Reflecting Your Healing

Reframe the Picture Series
Have you noticed you’re changing, but you can’t fully explain how?
You don’t react the same anymore to some things, you’re protecting your peace and you’re no longer forcing things that don’t feel right. That's growth.
In this episode, we’re talking about what happens when your life finally starts reflecting the healing, boundaries, and clarity you’ve been working on internally.
Because to be honest growth isn’t always loud. Growth can look like saying no without feeling guilty, resting without explaining, walking away from chaos and finally realizing you don’t have to keep shrinking to make other people feel comfort.
If you’ve been feeling like something in your life is shifting, this episode is your reminder that healing is not about becoming someone new. It’s about becoming more honest about who you really are.
If you’ve been feeling different this episode will help you understand why.
Outgrowing something is not failure. It’s evidence of growth.

Start Living in Alignment - How to Stop Betraying Yourself

Series: Reframe The Picture - Pt 9
Have you ever felt like something in your life is off, even when everything looks fine on the outside? It’s like you’re moving, functioning and even showing up where you need to be - but internally something still doesn’t feel right.
It doesn’t mean that something is wrong with you, but possibly something is just misaligned.
In this episode, we take the next step in the Reframe the Picture series. Although finding your voice is powerful - living from it is what changes everything.
In the past episodes, we have been touching on how you learned to keep the peace and become who you needed to be to feel safe, accepted or understood. And as you slowly adjusted, overtime it created distance between who you’re supposed to be and how you were living.
In this episode we discuss:
What misalignment really feels like beneath the surfaceWhy we stay in patterns that no longer serve usHaving clarity without action creates frustrationHow to begin making decisions that reflect your truthAlignment is not about becoming someone new. It’s about being honest about your truth one small decision at a time. It’s doing it over and over again until your life matches your truth.
When you begin to live in alignment things shift. Your choices change, relationship shifts and your standards rise.
You don’t need a new life. You need alignment with the life you already have.

Series: Reframe The Picture - Pt 8
In the last episode, we talked about setting boundaries what you will and will not allow.
But what many people don’t realize is that setting boundaries is not the final destination, it’s the introduction to something just as important: using your voice.
In this episode, we discuss what it means to find your voice after silence, survival, and self-doubt. Because many of us didn’t lose our voice…we built our lives around not needing it.
We learned how to keep the peace, how to stay quiet to protect relationships and how to keep our opinions to ourselves out of insecurity.
But being silent doesn’t always protect you, sometimes it slowly disconnects you from yourself.
In this episode we talk about,
Recognizing where you’re choosing silence over honestyWhat happens when you don’t speak up for yourself.Simple ways to being using your voice. It’s important to understand that silence can be protection for many people. Discovering a safe space to speak your truth is important that should be shared with the right people.
Using our voices is not about becoming louder - but it is about showing up authentically and not allowing others to speak for you.
Your voice matters and it deserves to be heard.

When You Keep Saying Yes But Mean No

Series: Reframe The Picture - Pt 7
What if the reason you feel drained isn’t because you’re doing too much, but because you’re allowing too much?
In this episode, we’re talking about boundaries not from a place of distance or disconnection, but from clarity, self-respect, and emotional safety.
After learning how to feel safe again the next step should be deciding what you will and will not continue to carry or allow. Because healing doesn’t just help change how you feel, it changes what you’re willing to accept.
Many of us were never taught to set boundaries. Instead, we learned how to keep the peace, overextend ourselves, and stay silent to protect relationships - at the cost of ourselves.
In this episode we talk about,
4 Types of boundaries: emotional, time, physical and mental. How to recognize when and where you need boundaries. The difference between relationships, family and work boundaries.Setting boundaries without over explaining yourself.Take a moment and ask yourself:
Where in your life do you feel the most drained and where are you saying yes… when something in you is saying no?

When Calm Feels Unfamiliar - Learning to Trust Yourself

Series: Reframe The Picture - Pt 6
In this episode of The Path Podcast, we’re talking about what survival leaves behind - this is something many of you may be experiencing but don’t always recognize it after overcoming obstacles.
You survived a serious diagnosis, financial setbacks, or the end of a relationship - but part of you is still living like you’re in it. Life has calmed down, but your body has not caught up. You finally have peace, but you still feel unsettled.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re always “on,” like you’re waiting for something to go wrong, or like calm just doesn’t feel normal yet? If you answered yes, this is the conversation for you.
Because sometimes survival ends before your body realizes it is safe.
In episode 5 of the Reframe the Picture Series, we talked about the identity you built to survive and how that version of you was necessary to protect you.
In this episode, we’re shifting the focus:
What happens when the storm is over, but you’re still bracing for it?Why calm can feel unfamiliar after hard seasons. Why your body may still feel on guard even when nothing is wrongHow to trust yourself again.Somethings require additional support and you don’t have to go through it alone. Seeking help doesn’t make you weak. It means you’re ready to heal.
Sometimes the most courageous thing you can do is believe that calmer days are ahead.
Some storms change us, but they were never meant to define the rest of our lives.

The Identity That Kept You Safe, And the Courage to Emerge

Series: Reframe The Picture - Pt 5
You are not stuck.
You’re loyal to an identity that once kept us safe.
In Episode 5 of the ReFrame The Picture Series, we unpack the version of you that formed at a time you needed it to survive. We also discuss what happens when that version keeps leading your life and decisions long after the storm is over.
In this episode, we explore:
• How identity forms in response to pain
• Why survival requires us to adapt — and how adaptation can quietly become our identity
• A guided Reframe-the-Picture exercise
• A safe conversation about receiving support to help move you forward if needed.
You didn’t become this version of yourself by accident. You became her out of necessity. Show yourself grace, and thank the woman who stepped up when survival required it.
The protection you needed then is not what you require now.
It may be time to gently tell that part of you it’s safe to emerge - into the woman you were always meant to be, and fully love.
You don’t erase the picture.
You change the frame.

Have you ever made a permanent decision based on a temporary emotion?
Maybe you walked away from something too soon or stayed longer than you should have? Did you believe something said to you — not because it was true, but because it felt true in the moment.
In this episode of The Path Podcast, we continue the Reframe the Picture series by confronting something deeply personal to every human being - our emotions.
Although your feelings are powerful and real - they are not meant to lead your life.
Your feelings are information — not instructions. In this episode, we talk about the 3 common emotional traps that quietly shape our decisions and how we can make permanent decisions from temporary emotions.

Reframe the Picture Series - Pt 3
What if the thoughts you have most often aren’t true?
In this episode of The Path Podcast, we look at the inner dialogue that quietly shapes how you see yourself, your past, and what you believe is possible. Many of us aren’t living from what actually happened, we’re living from what our minds learned while trying to survive.
Your brain’s first job is to protect itself after pain, loss, or disappointment. In this episode, we talk about why some thoughts feel so convincing when they aren’t actually true. If we’re not careful, these patterns begin to loop and replay over and over.
In this conversation, we will discuss:
3 common thought traps that feels real in the moment, but is actually not true. How to question the thoughts shaping your life. Why faith and therapy work together in the process of healing. This episode continues our past conversations of renewing your mind - this will be vital to avoid fighting untrue thoughts, by learning how to notice them, question the lens they came from, and reframe the picture you’re seeing.
As you listen - pause and notice one thought you constantly hear on repeat.
Ask yourself - Is this thought protecting me or imprisoning me? Did it come from truth or from pain?
Awareness is not weakness. It’s wisdom.
