#239 How to Change Your Relationship With the Scales (Without Giving Up on Your Goals)
2026/09/25
Welcome to Episode 239, you legends! In this solo episode, I’m talking about something that has been incredibly relevant to my own journey. My relationship with the scales. As somebody who has lost a significant amount of weight, I relied on the scales for years as a measure of success. When the number went down, I was winning. When it went up, it could completely change how I felt about my progress. In this episode, I talk about why I’ve had to change that relationship, what the scales actually tell us, and why one number should never have so much control over how we feel. This isn’t about never weighing yourself again. It’s about learning to use the scales as a tool rather than allowing them to define your success. If you have a negative relationship with the scales, this episode is for you. I hope you enjoy it. Let me know your biggest takeaway in the comments. #238 The Seamus Fox Episode - Stand Guard at the door of your mind
2026/09/18
Welcome to Episode 238, you legends! In this episode, I’m joined by Seamus Fox for a fascinating conversation around human behaviour, mindset, personal growth and what it really takes to create lasting change. With over 20 years of coaching experience, Seamus has built and sold fitness businesses, written a book, hosted over 200 podcast episodes and now coaches business owners, CEOs and executives around the world. We explore why people can know exactly what they need to do but still struggle to take action, how our thoughts and environment influence our behaviour, and what it means to “stand guard at the door of your mind.” We also dive into identity, self-awareness, success and some of the lessons Seamus has learned from more than two decades of helping people change. Ultimately, this is a conversation about understanding yourself better, becoming more intentional about what you allow to influence you, and taking greater responsibility for the person you’re becoming. I hope you enjoy it. Let us know your biggest takeaway from the episode in the comments and what part of the conversation resonated with you the most. #236 34 Lessons from 34 Years
2026/09/04
Welcome to Episode 236, you legends! In this episode, I'm doing something a little different to celebrate turning 34 years old sharing 34 lessons from 34 years of life. They're lessons I've picked up through losing weight, relationships, running, work, building a business, making mistakes, taking risks, getting things wrong and figuring out more about who I actually am. We dive into taking responsibility for your life, building real confidence through self-trust, caring less about other people's opinions, defining success for yourself, relationships, health, comparison, money, courage, play and why you don't need to live your life on somebody else's timeline. Some of these lessons have taken me years to understand. Some I'm still learning now. If you focus on responsibility, the people you love and the lush things that already exist around you, life can look very different. I hope you enjoy it. Let me know your biggest takeaway from the 34 lessons in the comments and I'd love to know which lesson resonated with you the most.
