Life is not ours to take
2026/11/01
Description: 10 Commandments: Life is not ours to take
What does the commandment “You shall not murder” teach us about the value of human life? In this message, we explore how all life belongs to God, every person bears His image, and the heart matters long before an act is committed. Discover how God calls us to protect life, reject contempt, and pray for the vulnerable and persecuted.
Big Idea: All human life has value and worth because every person belongs to God and bears His image.

Handle With Care - Exodus 20:7
2026/10/11
Title: The 10 Commandments - Handle With Care (Exodus 20:7)
Big Idea: Handle with care: It’s not your name (inductive—big idea comes at the close).
Question: Why is misusing the LORD’s name so dangerous?
Illustrative Texts: Leviticus 24 and Acts 19:11-20.
How Should We Use God’s Name?
If you want to guard your heart and bear His name with integrity, commit to three daily practices:
1. Acknowledge the weight of God’s name.
2. Guard your lips.
3. Fill your mind with God’s worth.
God Made You; Don’t Make God
2026/10/04
Description: What happens when we try to reshape God into someone who fits our expectations?
In this message from our 10 Commandments series, we look at the warning behind the commandment not to make idols—and discover that idolatry isn’t just about statues. It can also mean creating a version of God that is more comfortable, convenient, or acceptable to us.
Big Idea: Either God shapes your life, or you’ll spend your life trying to reshape God.
In this message, we’ll consider:
Don’t Shrink God — God is greater than the limited picture we may create of Him.
Let God Speak for Himself — We discover who God is through His Word, rather than making Him into who we want Him to be.
What Shapes You Will Shape Others — The way we understand and respond to God influences the people around us.
Takeaway: Am I letting God shape me, or am I trying to shape God?
Next Step: Replace one lie about God with a Scriptural truth.
Maybe today you need to remember:
God is holy — Isaiah 6:3
“Today I was reminded that God is holy. He is worthy of worship.”
God loves me — John 3:16
“Today I was reminded God loves me and gave His Son to save us.”
God is merciful — Psalm 103:8
“Today I was reminded that God is merciful and patient with us.”
God is near — Psalm 34:18
“Today I was reminded that God is near, especially when life hurts.”
God is Creator — Genesis 1:1
“Today I was reminded that God is Creator. Everything belongs to Him.”
Who Has First Place?
2026/09/27
Title: The 10 Commandments - Who Has First Place?
Description: We all worship something.
The question is: What has your heart?
The First Commandment says, “You shall have no other gods before me.” But what does that really mean for us today? What competes with God for our attention, our affection, and our devotion?
In this message, we discover why God deserves our exclusive worship and how remembering who He is and what He has done changes the way we live.
Because the question isn't whether you worship. It's what you worship.
Join us as we look at the First Commandment and ask two important questions:
Who is God to you?
What has He done for you?
Your answers may reveal what truly has first place in your life.
Give to God First
2026/09/20
Description:
Title: Give to God First
Big Idea: Give God your first, not your leftovers.
Where You Invest Reveals Your Heart
What You Focus on Shapes Your Life
Money is a Tool but a Terrible Master
Takeaway: God Gave First, So We Give First
Next Steps: Invest in What God Is Doing
Look at where your money goes
Give first to God
Choose an intentional amount
Take a 90-day challenge with your finances
Give Frist; Save Second; Live on the rest.
Live on what you have. Save for the future. Trust God with tomorrow.
Save For The Future
2026/09/13
Title: Save For The Future: Biblical Finances
Description: What does the Bible actually say about saving money?
In Week 2 of Biblical Finances, we look at how wise stewardship prepares for tomorrow without putting our trust in money. From Proverbs to Joseph’s example in Genesis, Scripture shows us that saving isn’t fear, it’s wisdom.
Live on what you have. Save for the future. Trust God with tomorrow.
Live on What You Have
2026/09/06
Biblical Finances
Big Idea: Faithful finances begin when you live on what you have.
1. Contentment Has to Be Learned
2. Decide What Is Enough
3. Pay Attention to Where Your Money Goes
4. Stop Spending Tomorrow's Money Today
Takeaway: Live on what you have. Christ is enough.
Next Steps:
1. Know what comes in. Write down monthly take-home income.
2. Know what goes out: Review the last 30 days of spending.
3. Find three leaks: Coffee, eating out, subscriptions, impulse…
4. Practice “not yet.”
Stand Firm - Ephesians 6:10–20
2026/08/30
Description: How do we stand firm when life feels like a spiritual battle? Not by relying on our own strength, but by standing in the strength of the Lord.
In Ephesians 6:10-20, Paul reminds us to:
Stand in God’s Strength
Put on God’s Armor
Pray and Share with Boldness
The Christian life requires more than determination—it requires dependence on God. We are called to stand firm in His strength, put on His armor, and pray boldly so the gospel can move forward.
Takeaway: Stand firm in God’s strength, put on God’s armor, and pray boldly so the gospel moves forward.
Ask yourself:
• Where am I trying to stand in my own strength instead of the Lord’s strength?
• Who can I pray for and speak the gospel to with boldness? .
