Memory Verses to live by: The Fruit of the Spirit | Galatians 5:22-25
2026/07/18
The fruit of the Spirit is the visible evidence of the invisible life of Christ within us: it is not something we manufacture by effort, but the gracious work of God's Spirit as we abide in Christ. These Christ-like qualities both assure us of God's transforming work and bear witness to the world, calling us not to anxious self-reliance but to walk by the Spirit, trusting him to produce in us what reflects the character of Jesus.

Speaking the Story of God - Dark Days | Genesis 3:1-24
2026/06/13
This week we continue our series on God’s story and Brett will talk about the “Dark Day” in Genesis 3:1-24 and how the darkness affects the world today. All of us struggle with our own sin and the sins of others. How do we respond to evil? How do we overcome this darkness? We will see how the hero of God’s Story, Jesus, provides the only solution.
Speaking the Story of God - First Days: Creation | Genesis 1:1-3; 26-2:3, John 1:1-5; 9-14
2026/06/06
As we explore the beginning of God's story and discover why Jesus is its hero, we'll also examine the competing stories our world tells about meaning, work, and purpose—and see how Jesus fulfils our deepest longings.
Speaking the Story of God: Jesus! The only way | Acts 17:16-34
2026/05/30
We start a new series this week, Speaking the Story of God, where we’ll explore the gospel story so that we can tell ourselves and others a better story than the ones our world offers. We begin by looking at the hero of the story — Jesus — and how Paul engaged the stories and philosophies of Athens to expose their limits and proclaim the resurrection of Jesus (Acts 17).
1 Thessalonians: Standing Firm | 1 Thessalonians 5:1-28
2026/05/23
In 1 Thessalonians 5, Paul teaches us how our hope of Christ’s return in the future compels us to live for Him now. He shows us how this hope changes the way we treat others, the way we spend our time, and the way we face trials and hardships.
1 Thessalonians: Christian hope in the face of death | 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
2026/05/18
What hope is there for those who die in Christ? It is always terribly sad when a loved one passes away, and Christian communities have always felt something of the sting of death. But after his resurrection Christ ascended into heaven, leaving behind the promise to return for his dearly loved people. In this week’s sermon we will meditate on Paul’s comforting words of hope in 1 Thessalonians 5:13-18. We’ll see that though we grieve, we have rock solid hope of meeting brothers and sisters again when Christ returns. It’s as certain as Christ’s own resurrection.
1 Thessalonians: Living to please God | 1 Thessalonians 4:1-12
2026/05/09
This weeks sermon is about living to please God in our relationships, work, and facing the future.
1 Thessalonians: A church to be thankful for | 1 Thessalonians 3:6-13
2026/05/02
This week’s sermon is based on 1 Thessalonians 3:6-13 and is about being a church that we can be thankful for, by standing together, growing together and rejoicing together.
1 Thessalonians: Truth & Love | 1 Thessalonians 2:17-3:5
2026/04/25
In today’s Bible passage (1 Thessalonians 2:17–3:5), we see Paul’s loving concern for the believers he was forced to leave behind, as well as his deep desire that they be strengthened in their faith in Jesus through all the difficulties they were facing.
