OH HI GUYS! We're back this week to talk about the horror hit of the year with Curry Barker's Obsession. Follow us on Instagram @ToAvoidFaintingPodcast

We've been a little quiet the last half of 2025, but enjoy this re-release episode before we return for 2026! -------‐-------------------------------- HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! We're a day late because that day after NYE is always rough, but we're bringing you a movie that makes its away on a lot of NYE horror watchlists when it probably shouldn't be??  We're ushering in 2024 with 1980's Terror Train! We'll be back with a new episode next week to kick off the best month of the year; but for now, enjoy an oldie but goodie! --‐‐-------------------------- This week we're talking about everybody's favorite mock-ghost hunting found footage flick, 2011's Grave Encounters. Would you just lay down and die or try to survive if you were stuck in a haunted asylum where time just decided to not exist and warp-faced ghouls chased you? Listen to find out what Stacey, Lauren, and Ash think (it's about what you'd expect.) Follow us on Instagram @ToAvoidFaintingPodcast

This week we give you some sharky goodness with 1999's Deep Blue Sea.  We have Thomas Jane, LL Cool J, a talking bird, some big-brained sharks, and the man who gave us our favorite Skarsgard boys. What kind of kooky sea-faring shenanigans will they get into? Listen to find out! Follow us on Instagram @ToAvoidFaintingPodcast

Ash and Stacey-Beth are back this week to talk about 2005's college bro edgelord torture porn flick, Hostel. Come for the 25 min intro where we're bash Eli Roth, stay for Ash's offensively misplaced French accent.   Be sure to leave us reviews wherever you listen to your podcasts and go give us a follow on IG @toavoidfaintingpodcast

We took last week off and are in the middle of recording our newest episode for y'all, so sit back and check out an oldie but goodie with Mike, Ash and Stacey when they talked about James Wan's The Conjuring. See y'all next week!

This week Ash picked a Peter Jackson throwback for us with 1996's The Frighteners! Be sure to leave us reviews wherever you listen to your podcasts and go give us a follow on IG @toavoidfaintingpodcast

Join us this week as we talk about Ari Aster's folk horror breakup tale, Midsommar.  Be sure to leave us reviews wherever you listen to your podcasts and go give us a follow on IG @toavoidfaintingpodcast

With the real Annabelle on her own Eras tour, we figured what better time to dive back into the Conjuring universe than with the the 2014 movie. Be sure to leave us reviews wherever you listen to your podcasts and go give us a follow on IG @toavoidfaintingpodcast

They're heeeere! We realized we haven't done a heavy-hitter movie in quite a while, so why not go for 1982's Poltergeist! Be sure to leave us reviews wherever you listen to your podcasts and go give us a follow on IG @toavoidfaintingpodcast

We took the week off so enjoy an older episode of ours. See you next week! ------------------------------------------------------------------- This week we sit down and talk about one of Stacey and Lauren's favorite found-footage flicks, AS ABOVE, SO BELOW. This little archeological hellish nightmare had us discussing Ash's distaste for the idea of the Philosophers Stone, how long we would actually survive in this situation (spoiler: NOT LONG), and what would be appropriate cave-exploring packing. Find a box of old films showing the murders of entire families in your basement? Don't call the cops, INVESTIGATE AND BE HAUNTED BY...BUGHUUL! Be sure to leave us reviews wherever you listen to your podcasts and go give us a follow on IG @toavoidfaintingpodcast

Have you always wanted to watch a teen horror/sci-fi movie about aliens but also hear a cover of Alice Cooper's I'm Eighteen performed by Creed? Well, you're in luck! This week we talk about 1998's The Faculty. A stacked cast of hot 20-something's playing teenagers try to not get ear-probed by the T-1000 all set to the sweet sounds of 90's alt-grunge/rock. Be sure to leave us reviews wherever you listen to your podcasts and go give us a follow on IG @toavoidfaintingpodcast

This week we talk about the sci-fi/action flick Class of 1999. There's robots, explosions, drugs, death...and Stacy Keach in a bleach blonde mullet-tail wig eating a banana. (apologies for all the background noises...) Be sure to leave us reviews wherever you listen to your podcasts and go give us a follow on IG @toavoidfaintingpodcast

Co-host Lauren is back! To celebrate we had her pick the movie and she so graciously chose the 1990 Frank Henenlotter flick, Frankenhooker. Exploding hookers and super crack, what more could you want?! Be sure to leave us reviews wherever you listen to your podcasts and go give us a follow on IG @toavoidfaintingpodcast
