Send us Fan Mail Hello Fellow Airgun Geeks,         This month on The Airgun Geeks Podcast, Bill Ruehl and Patrick Schmitz sit down with the pharmacist behind RX Target Systems, a company producing high-quality targets for airgun shooters who care about precision, durability, and meaningful practice. Our guest brings together two very different worlds: professional pharmacy and precision target design. We discuss how RX Target Systems got started, what separates a genuinely useful shooting target from a simple piece of steel, and why the right target system can make practice more productive, entertaining, and repeatable. Whether you shoot PCP airguns, spring-piston rifles, CO₂ guns, pellet pistols, or competitive air rifles, target quality can directly affect how you train and evaluate your shooting. Well-designed reactive targets provide immediate feedback, encourage better shot placement, and create a more engaging experience for backyard plinking, pest-control practice, field target preparation, benchrest training, and informal competitions. In this episode, we explore:  The story behind RX Target Systems How a working pharmacist became an airgun target manufacturer What goes into designing and producing premium shooting targets Why target size, visibility, durability, and feedback matter How better practice equipment can help shooters improve accuracy Applications for PCP airguns, pellet rifles, and air pistols The challenges of developing products for the airgun community Airgun news, competition updates, new products, and plenty of Airgun Geeks conversation This episode is for airgun enthusiasts, target shooters, backyard plinkers, Field Target competitors, benchrest shooters, hunters, pest-control shooters, and anyone interested in precision shooting equipment or small manufacturing businesses. Can a pharmacist really write the prescription for better accuracy? Watch the episode and decide for yourself.  Like the video if you enjoy meeting the people and companies driving the airgun industry forward. Leave a comment: What type of airgun target do you use most—paper, reactive steel, spinners, knockdowns, or resetting targets? Send us Fan Mail Hello Fellow Airgun Geeks, The airgun world is moving fast, and this episode of The Airgun Geeks is packed with news every shooter should be watching. Pat and Bill discuss recent legal action in New York that could affect air rifles, pellet guns, BB guns, PCP airguns, youth shooting, backyard plinking, competition shooting, and airgun retailers. We also recap our visit to the Florida Outdoor Expo, an outdoor sports event featuring categories like hunting, fishing, camping, archery, boating, backyard living, motorsports, and more. From there, we talk about Bill’s new relationship with Pinty Airguns, Pat’s new gig with Sling Guru, and the recent IPAC competition in Florida, a precision long-range airgun event featuring benchrest, PRS/ELR-style challenges, and extreme-distance airgun shooting.
