So with all the magical, sunshine sides of full-time travel... comes the dark side of being a full-time traveller. Ever wondered what it would be like to travel the world in a single-engine plane?  Well, in today's episode, I sit down with Sam Porter – a 22-year-old private pilot from Vancouver, Canada, who has spent the last 8 months doing exactly that. Her family (@fly5inthesky⁠) has set a massive goal of flying around the world in their single-engine GA8 AirVan, travelling to over 50 countries in 14 months.  In this episode, we dive into: A day in the life of travelling in a single-engine plane How to pack for a worldwide expedition (with only 9kg per person!) Sam shares some of her best and worst experiences from travelling to over 20 countries so far How to navigate medical emergencies as a full-time traveller ...and much more! It is said that “less people have flown around the world in a single-engine plane than have summited mount Everest”, and it's hard to say if there even has been a family that has done it all together, completely VFR and with no autopilot. In this episode, I sit down with Lars Born to talk about all things pursuing passions and alternative work. Lars is a traveller and creator who is passionate about pursuing life on his own terms. After a short stint of trying corporate life, he decided to go all in with pursuing passion his passion for life, travel and content creation. Forgoing a ‘real’ job, he flew to asia and then returned to the UK to travel and live in his van, all while experimenting with re-selling, content creation, odd jobs and his most recent experiment with Only Fans. What do the 4-hour-work-week and AI have in common? Well, both have completely shifted my perspective on the traditional narrative around the 40-hour work week. In my last solo last episode, I touched on working from the road, but lately, there have been some shifts around what it looks like to work on the road.
