(Ep 235) Amaia Latorre
2026/10/12
In this latest episode, joining me was 1x LET Access Series title winner & current Ladies European Tour pro Amaia Latorre who took some time to chat from back home in Spain alongside former pod guest Ale Llaneza for emotional support. Amaia has had a positive season on LET which a couple of top 10 which sees her currently 70th on LET Order of Merit standings.
Amaia is from Vitoria Gasteiz in Basque Country region of Northern Spain but currently resides in Castellón de la Plana just outside of Valencia. Amaia would try out Golf at the age of 3 years old and growing up would mix her time playing Football & Golf playing as a Defensive Midfielder for years before making the full time switch to Golf.
Amaia would go to Deusto University in Bilbao and as an amateur would win 3 titles. In 2022 she would turn professional and would win 2022 Santander Golf Tour Player of the Year before winning the first 2 of her 4 pro titles on Santander Golf Tour in 2023 at Cadiz & La Coruña.
In 2025, Amaia would win her 3rd pro title at Santander Golf Tour in Valencia and on LETAS would win Ahlsell Trophy in Sweden defeating Isabell Ekström in a Playoff at -8 to become a LET Access Series title winner. This year on LET would see Amaia finish 10th at Czech Ladies Open, 6th at Swiss Ladies Open, 18th at Buccelatti Italian Open and would make her first ever Aramco Series event in South Korea!
Just want to thank Amaia for being brilliant and she done really well in a 2nd language, I hope this gives her confidence to express herself more in future English interviews! Gracias!
(Ep 234) Hanna Tauber
2026/10/09
In this latest episode, I was pleased to be joined by 2026 Allegria Stegerbasch Ladies Open winner Hanna Tauber who has had a good season on LET Access Series this year currently ranked 14th on LETAS Order of Merit standings.
Hanna is from the Castrop Rouxel region of Germany near to the city of Dortmund and is a massive fan of Borussia Dortmund football team (find out who she blind ranks her teams former players from 1-8). Hanna would discover the game at round about 10 years old and describes the complexity of the game as one of the main factors.
Hanna as a Junior would win 2022 International Junior Golf Masters, win 2023 NRW Championship AK 18 & finish runner up at 2023 German Matchplay as well as a 5th at Scottish Girls' & 24th at the prestigious Helen Holm Amateur Championship.
Hanna would start her pro journey on Sunshine Ladies Tour in South Africa in 2025 before plying her trade on LET Access Series finishing 35th at Montauban, 14th at Czech Challenge & 14th at PGA Championship Sweden before a brilliant 2nd at the season ending Calatayud Ladies Open in Spain.
This year, Tauber would start again in South Africa with some good performances, 14th at Standard Bank Ladies Open & a top 10 at Jabra Ladies Classic. In her first LETAS start of the season Hanna would win her maiden professional title at Allegria Stegerbasch Ladies Open in Austria defeating Ragga Kristinsdottír by 2 shots. Not too long afterwards back in Germany at Wuppertaler would see Hanna take the 36 hole lead going into the final day playing in the final group on home soil, another great experience.
With now 4 events left of LET Access, I wish Hanna all the best in her quest to finish Top 7. Thanks for a great chat, you done really well! Download via Podbean, Apple & Spotify.
(Ep 233) Tereza Zapletal Kozeluhova
2026/09/23
In this latest episode I was pleased to be joined by this year's English Women's Open champion Tereza Zapletal Kozeluhova who joined from back home in the city of Plzen, Czech Republic after a great run of form this year which has led to her currently being 4th on LET Access Series standings in prime position to return to Ladies European Tour for 2027.
Tereza is from Plzen which is the 3rd most populous city in Czechia and would win 2017 Austrian Junior International, 2018 RB German Junior and represent Czechia at European Girls' Amateur Team Championships before turning professional in 2021. Tereza would also finish 6th at 2019 Czech Ladies Open on LET as an amateur.
In Tereza's own words it has been fun but a lot of struggle on tour since turning professional and were times where she started to question whether Golf was right for her anymore with some struggles on LET
This year in 2026 season though however has changed after a solid start of 17th at Madaef Golf's Open in Morocco and a 16th at Montauban, 21st at Czech Challenge & 61st at Royal Beroun for Czech Ladies Open then would come the best moment of her career as Tereza would navigate through a tough course at Manchester Golf Club to win at -12 by 1 shot to claim her maiden professional title at English Women's Open which being there on site to witness is was expertly done and very special to watch and for Teri to win with her father on the bag will hold very special memories. After her win the good fork continued with a 3rd at Hanbury Manor, 8th at Irish Challenge, 4th at Himmerland in some of the most brutal weather conditions and 7th at Slovak Ladies Open.
Thanks Tereza for letting me chat with you both after your win in England and on the podcast. All the best going forward!
(Ep 232) Ellise Rymer (2026 English Women's Amateur Champion)
2026/08/10
We are back after a brief hiatus to recharge the batteries and I was joined by The New English Women's Amateur Champion Ellise Rymer who joined me from back home after a mental few weeks winning English Women's Amateur, making Final Qulifying for AIG Women's Open, while also making all 3 rounds at English Women's Open before due to go back to University life at University of Cincinatti in September.
The pride of Lincolnshire, Ellise like most players would grow up playing most sports primarily Football before giving Golf a try.
Ellise would win Scottish Under 16's Championship in Stirling before in 2022 finishing 5th at R&A Girls' Amateur Championship and also playing at World Junior Girls Championship in Canada. Ellise would also represent England at European Girls' Amateur Team Championship in 2023, while in 2025 would see a 3rd at St Rule Trophy in Scotland.
2026 has been a whirlwind for the Lincolnshire star winning Lincolnshire Women's County Championships, making her LPGA Tour debut at Kroger Queen City Championship where she managed to get some advice from none other than Charley Hull and finishing 53rd at English Women's Open in Manchester on LET Access Series. But none of that is in comparison to the week at Moor Park Golf Club where Ellise would run through the field to become the new English Women's Amateur Champion defeating Isabella Kent by 2up to win one of the most prestigious titles for every English player.
Some say Ellise might still be in celebration mode for quite some time. If you love drivel also this podcast is for you as at the end we both go on a tangent of British TV iconic quotes, British Memes and of course the legendary Scottish Memes. Iconic!
Thanks Ellise for agreeing to come on in your celebration period, had great fun. All the best back in the States pal.

Natalie over the years has had good finishes at Czech Challenge (17th in 2023, 13th in 2024 & 14th in 2025) as well as a 9th placed finish at Czech Ladies Open at Royal Beroun on Ladies European Tour

2026/07/09
After a tremendous day on the golf course from Peterborough star Thalia Martin who shot a joint course record of (-9) 63 in Round 2 here at Manchester Golf Club, Thalia would join me for a chat after her round as we find out what went right out there today, how much it would mean to potentially win a 2nd LETAS title amongst more.
From tour life, to focusing on redoing her nails and food chat, thanks Thalia for the time!
(Ep 229) Maria Vittoria Corbi Live Round 1 at English Women's Open
2026/07/08
Joining me this afternoon after her round of 68 today on Tournament Day 1 was Italian player Maria Vittoria Corbi as we find out more about her day on the course in her group with Hulda Gestsdottír & Gracie Mayo, about her good form on LETAS, playing with the one and only Paul Scholes in the pro-am this week, Hulencourt experience last week on LET as well as finding out more about Maria as a person as well as the player.
We have a good chance about Italy as Maria tries to sell Rome as a travel destination for those who haven't been (like myself), find out about her favourite cuisine (there is no bias there of course) as well as find out if MaVi will be singing the Macarena any time soon? 👀🤔🤣
Thanks Maria for a great chat, really enjoyed talking with you and getting to know you better.
Grazie Mille MaVi. Enjoy the episode everyone!
(Ep 228) Katherine Schuster & Ale Llaneza Live at English Women's Open
2026/07/07
I have to say I have been surprised at just how good Manchester Golf Club is this week for English Women's Open on LET Access. I was pleased to be joined by American pro Katherine Schuster who is 100 percent embracing the challenge of pro life in Europe this season as she is currently 29th on LET Access Series Order of Merit standings after 6 events into her rookie season on tour.
Katherine is from Outer Banks area of North Carolina, USA and started the game out at age of 10 after watching Drive, Chip and Putt competition at Augusta National which got her hooked instantly. Katherine has had the pleasure of taking the drive down Magnolia Lane at Augusta 4 times an experience that never gets old. She would go to Clemson University before trying to win tour card at Q School in Morocco. We also find out more about Katherine as a person including that she has attempted to achieve her aviation license!
I was also joined be podcast guest and one of the legends in 2016 Olympian, 2x Symetra Tour winner and last year's Santander Golf Tour Avila champion Ale Llaneza in what was a 2nd run after our walk and talk chat yesterday was directly affected with the blowing wind. Ale just comes off of 3 solid rounds on LET last week at Hulencourt Women's Open after playing on an invite and find out her thoughts on this week's course as well as of course Taco chat, Mezcal chat and find out more about her goals for the year mentally and physically. Top tier entertainment as always from Alejandra!
Thanks Katherine & Ale for stopping by, was good to chat with you both! Have fun this week!
(Ep 227) Hulda Gestsdottír Live at English Women's Open
2026/07/07
As I get into the swing of things this week at Manchester Golf Club for English Women's Open on LET Access Series, I was pleased to be joined today by Czech Ladies Challenge winner Hulda Clara Gestsdottír who in her rookie year as a pro already has alongside the win another 2 Top 10 finishes in 6 starts this year on tour with an 8th at Madaef Golfs Open in Morocco and 9th last week at Swedish Strokeplay also had this year for the talented Icelander.
Hulda was born in Atlanta, Georgia but moved to Kopavogur in Iceland at the age of 3 where most of her memories lie.
Back in 2018, Hulda would go on to represent Iceland at Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina which remains one of the best experiences she has had. Hulda would go to University of Denver and has represented Iceland numerous times at European Ladies Amateur Team Championships & also represented her country at Espirito Santo Trophy at Le Golf National in 2022 and also played in 2022 Women's Amateur Championships.
We also find out more about what makes Hulda happy, finding about more about Icelandic cuisine and of course how she likes her steak cooked (Massive Questions!)
Thank you Hulda for agreeing to chat, I enjoyed chatting with you and all the best in the race to finish inside the Top 7 for a LET card next year.
(Ep 226) Czech Ladies Open R2 with Emma Spitz & Marta Martin
2026/06/28
After their rounds yesterday I was pleased to be joined by both Austrian star Emma Spitz & 2024 Czech Ladies Open champ Marta Martin after Emma shot -7 to finish -8 to put herself into contention again this week after a solid finish last week at Dutch Ladies Open and Marta shooting a -6 to finish -9 and 4 shots back as the past champions group consisting of Jana Melichova (2022), Diksha Dagar (2023) & Marta (2024) are all on -9 ahead of the final round at Beroun.
Now Emma is someone that I have wanted to chat to for a long time as think she is a fantastic player. She has been remarkably consistent for the last couple of years. Since losing in a playoff to Alexandra Forsterling at the German Masters in 2024, Emma has has a further 11 Top 10 finishes on LET & 17 Top 20's which include some big events like Saudi International & Aramco Houston while also representing Austria at 2024 Olympic Games at Le Golf National. I have maintained for a while that Spitz will win at some point soon so all the best to Emma in the search for her maiden LET title.
Marta since her LET title win at Royal Beroun in 2024 by her own admission has been pretty rough in spells openly admitting to struggling with some injuries, mental fatigue and form troubles. She was open in the episode about how tough it was to not defend her title last year in 25' due to injury and also how missing 6 cuts in a row made her question her future in the sport. Marta is starting to play much better now and fingers crossed she can continue some good form as she looks to get back in the right direction.
Thanks Emma & Martin for taking some time after your round to come and chat after a mental battle with the weather. Be sure to have a listen in, couple of great chats.
(Ep 225) Czech Ladies Open Round 2 with Kouskova & Mackova
2026/06/27
After another long endurance test for all the players today with temperatures soaring to 37 & 38 degrees. I was pleased to be joined by 2 Czech superstars 2x LET winner Sara Kouskova & 1x LETAS winner Patricie Mackova as they reflected on their time this week at Czech Ladies Open.
We find out about their 2nd rounds today with Patricie birdieing 2 of the last 3 holes to finish -5 and Sara struggled a little bit today with a +2 round but still nicely inside the cut line with 1 day left tomorrow.
We also find out what the week of the Czech Open means to both Sara & Patricie as well as chatting about how Patricie is finding LET this year after finishing 5th on last year's LET Access Series Order of Merit standings to gain her tour card this year and also find out about what the weight of expectations on the Karlovy Vary star after a stellar 2025 which saw her win Jabra Ladies Open & Tenerife Womens Open back to back while also qualifying for final stage of LPGA Q School.
It was an extremely busy week for both Sara & Patricie but extremely grateful to both of them for taking some time to chill out! Thanks Ladies, really appreciate it!
(Ep 224) Czech Ladies Open Round 1 with Natalie Saint Germain & Jana Melichova
2026/06/27
After a day that so a lot of good scoring at Royal Beroun and with unlimited water & electrolytes needed, after the round I was pleased to be joined by recently turned Czechia pro Natalie Saint Germain who in a group with Trichat Cheenglab & Katharina Muehlbauer shot Even par for the day as she plays Czech Ladies Open on an Invitational she admits that she will have to go on the offensive tomorrow as in her own words 'I have got nothing to lose'.
I was also delighted to be joined by a very special player & person and that is 2x LET title winner Jana Melichova. Jana's story is heartwarming after winning 2022 Czech Ladies Open, there was a very emotional victory at Dutch Ladies Open in 2024 not too long after the unfortunate passing of her mother and when she was coming down the stretch in Netherlands all Jana could think about on her mind was her mum. We caught up with Jana on how she is finding returning to Golf after a serious back injury over the past couple of years but Jana seems to be nearly at 100, percent fitness. Such a lovely person and it is so great to Jana back on Tour!
Thank you to both Natalie & Jana for chatting!
(Ep 223) Czech Ladies Open with Corinne Viden
2026/06/26
As I settled into life at this week's Czech Ladies Open at Royal Beroun in absolutely blistering heat, I was pleased to be joined busy Swedish pro Corinne Viden for a walk and talk down on the 5th fairway as we find out how she has been coping with the temperatures this week in Czech, how she has found Beroun so far as a course, how she is finding LET this year more about the best things about being back in Sweden and more.
Thanks Corinne for allowing me to walk with you for a chat, was nice talking to you! Download via Podbean, Apple & Spotify.
(Ep 222) Patricie Macková
2026/06/26
In this latest episode ahead of Czech Ladies Open at Royal Beroun, I was pleased to be joined by 2025 Lavaux Ladies Open winner & Czechia star Patricie Macková after finishing 5th last year on LET Access Series Order of Merit standings to win her Ladies European Tour card for 2026 with a Top 10 already this year at Ford NSW Open at Wollongong.
Patricie is from the beautiful city of Prague and would start playing the game at age of 7, quickly becoming one of Czechia's top players and would win 2019 Czech International Junior U18 & U21 Championship and represent Czechia at 3x European Girls' Team Championships (2017, 2018 & 2019).
Patricie would go to University of Maryland near D.C. and would become a standout there winning 2022 Yale Invitational NCAA event as well as representing Czechia at 2x Espirito Santo Trophy's in Paris & Abu Dhabi, representing Czech at 2x European Amateur Team Championships at Conwy GC & Hämeenlina and being a part of 2023 Patsy Hankins Trophy team for Team Europe playing alongside Lottie Woad, Helen Briem, Kajsa Arwefjäll, Celina Sattelkau & Meja Örtengren.
Since 2018 Patricie has competed in her home events both Czech Ladies Open on LET & Czech Challenge on Access Series and has had 4 Top 15's at Czech Challenge as an amateur.
In 2024 she would turn pro and the first year would be a struggle with a best finish of T11th at Rose Ladies Series. 2025 would see a great season for Patricie with 8 Top 10 finishes on LET Access Series including winning Lavaux Ladies Open in Switzerland, that would see the talented Czech star finish 5th overall on the Order of Merit standings and would gain her LET Card for this year.
Was a great chat with Patricie, wish her all the best this week on her special week! Download via Podbean, Apple & Spotify
(Ep 221) Alejandra Llaneza
2026/06/09
In what I can only describe as a fantastic but slightly chaotic podcast episode it was great to be joined by 2x Symetra Tour winner, Former LPGA Tour player, 2016 Olympian for Mexico & current LET Access Series pro Alejandra Llaneza who phoned in from Madrid after competing in Santander Golf Tour event in preparation for getting her LET Access Series season for 2026 up and running this week in Czechia after finishing last season in the top 25 in the order of Merit standings which included a win at Santander Golf Tour Avila.
Ale is from the beautiful city of Mexico City and began the game at 6 years old before winning the first of her 7 Mexican Junior Championships at the age of 11. Ale would go to University of Arizona and would win Rookie of the Year for 2007-08 season before winning on Cactus Tour in 2011 as an amateur then turning pro in 2012.
There has been many pro highlights from Llaneza as she comes into her 14th season on tour as a pro with milestones such as winning Silver Medal at 2014 Central American & Caribbean Games in Veracruz, finishing 4th at 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, winning twice on Symetra Tour at 2015 Self Regional Healthcare Foundation Charity Classic & 2019 Garden City Charity Classic, competing on LPGA Tour for 4 years between 2013-17.
Also playing in 5 Major Championship events at 3x KMPG PGA Championships, 1x US Women's Open & 1x Evian Championship but nothing I'm sure will compare to the sense of pride of being selected in 2016 to represent Mexico at Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro a truly memorable experience for Ale.
Come for the great career journey and stay for the Fruity Taco, dancing to the Macarena & Tequila chat.
Not laughed so much in an episode in a long long time Ale was an iconic guest and can't thank her enough!
