Settling The Chaos Meditation!
2026/07/03
Fertile Ground Healing doesn’t happen from listening alone. It happens through practice. Fertile Ground is the companion space to Flower Child The Podcast—a place where the conversations continue long after each episode ends. Each month, you’ll receive intentional tools designed to help you move from awareness to transformation, including: * A monthly healing intention * Weekly journal prompts * Guided reflections * Grounding and nervous system practices * Affirmations * Gentle challenges that encourage growth * Resources to support your healing journey Every episode plants a seed. Fertile Ground gives you the space to nurture it. Whether you’re learning to trust yourself, grieve what you didn’t receive, set healthy boundaries, or reconnect with the version of yourself that had to survive, this is your place to slow down, process, and bloom. Because healing isn’t a destination—it’s something we cultivate, one intentional moment at a time. Welcome to Fertile Ground. Your safe space to bloom. 🌻
Returning Home Deeply Rooted!
2026/07/01
After three years away, I’m finally coming home. In this deeply personal season premiere, I share the story I’ve spent years gathering the courage to tell—not because it’s perfect, but because it’s true. As a third-generation adult child of an addict, I spent much of my life surviving patterns I didn’t create, carrying responsibilities that were never mine, and searching for safety in all the wrong places. Stepping away from the podcast wasn’t the end of my story—it became part of my healing. In this episode, I open up about what the last three years have taught me: the grief, the growth, the fear, the healing, and the moment I realized I had to stop arguing with who God created me to be. If you’ve ever questioned your worth, struggled to trust yourself, or wondered whether healing is really possible after childhood trauma, this conversation is for you. This season is an invitation to return—not to who you were before life hurt you, but to the person you’ve always been underneath the survival. Welcome back to Flower Child The Podcast. This is your safe space to bloom. 🌻 In this episode, we’ll explore: Why I stepped away for three years. My story as an adult child of an addict. What healing has looked like behind the scenes.Learning to trust myself again. What it means to stop arguing with God about who He created me to be.Why awareness is the first step toward breaking generational cycles. What you can expect from Season 4: A Safe Place to Land.Whether this is your first time listening or you’ve been here since the beginning, thank you for trusting me with your healing journey. Welcome home, Flower Child. It’s time to bloom.
Awareness Meditation!
2026/06/01
As adult children of addicts, many of us learned how to survive long before we learned how to feel safe. Over time, survival patterns can become so familiar that we mistake them for our personality, our identity, or simply “the way we are.” In this guided meditation, we’ll gently slow down and create space to become aware—aware of our thoughts, our emotions, our nervous systems, and the protective patterns we developed in response to childhood trauma and dysfunction. This meditation is not about fixing yourself or judging your experiences. It’s about observing with compassion and recognizing the difference between who you truly are and who survival taught you to be. Together, we’ll explore: 🌿 Self-awareness without shame 🌿 The impact of childhood trauma on adulthood 🌿 Nervous-system awareness 🌿 Reconnecting with your inner child 🌿 Compassionate healing May this practice remind you that there is nothing wrong with you. Something happened to you. And awareness is often the first step toward freedom. Take a deep breath, find a comfortable space, and allow yourself to simply notice. 🌻 Bloom, FC… you’ve wilted long enough. #FlowerChildThePodcast #AdultChildrenOfAddicts #TraumaHealing #InnerChildHealing #NervousSystemRegulation #HealingJourney #MentalWellness #BreakingTheCycle #SelfAwareness #GuidedMeditation
A Safe Space To Land!
2026/05/27
Season 4 of Flower Child the Podcast is an invitation for adult children of addicts to finally exhale. A safe place to land is for the ones who learned survival before safety… the ones carrying emotional wounds, hyper-independence, people-pleasing, anxiety, grief, shame, and the silent weight of growing up in dysfunction. Hosted by Ke’Onda Washington, this season creates intentional conversations centered around childhood trauma, nervous-system regulation, self-awareness, and compassionate healing. Together, we’ll explore how early experiences continue to shape our relationships, self-worth, identity, and emotional patterns in adulthood — not from a place of blame, but from a desire for freedom and wholeness. Through honest storytelling, reflective conversations, grounding practices, meditations, and practical healing tools, Flower Child reminds listeners that there is nothing wrong with them — something happened to them. This season is about softening survival mode, reclaiming your voice, reconnecting with your inner child, and learning how to feel safe within yourself again. Because healing the past isn’t about blame — it’s about freedom. So whether you’re blooming, grieving, unraveling, or rebuilding… welcome home. 🌿 This is your safe place to land. 🌻 Bloom, FC… you’ve wilted long enough. 🎙️ FLOWER CHILD THE PODCASTSeason 4: A Safe Place to Land 🌻
Dear Mama, Your Daughter Is Not Your Enemy!
2023/03/01
Hey Yall, This episode comes with a warning, especially for the Moms who may be tuning in. In this episode, my friend Kiya and I deep dive into our relationships with our mothers and what needs to occur for the healing to begin. That relationship isn't always the easiest to navigate, while also being a difficult one to talk about. No matter what angle you approach it from. From what I've experienced, it takes great strength and vulnerability to express the depths of your heart, especially about a parent or parent figure. However, I hope that you enjoy it! Take what resonates and let the rest go!!  If you would like to be a part of FCTPC, please head over to www. Flowerchildthepodcast.com and let me know what's on your mind. Healing conversations will always be my go-to when addressing complex situations. In the words of toxic rapper Future, "Dress it up and make it real for me!"
