And that is it for this season of Six DeGrees of a Belly Dancer. Nothin’ big, just us chillin’ n playin’ around with our features and segments again. If we don’t stop we gonna go blind. “The Herb Lady” stopped by with her healthy herbal remedy advice. She had some great tips and advice about the benefits of Sarsaparilla Root and Jamaican Sea Moss. We did two “Records of the Day” and we freaked Tony out because my friend Arbor glazed our podcast. We also played around with our “Call in Sic” feature where Elder Goth Daron Shupe answered! Yay! Tony highly recommended a few links that I will post on our SDBD Facebook page. Thank you everyone for listening, have a wonderful winter and happy holidays! In this episode we “rip it” LIVE with the album Pretty Things Don’t Last by alt-rock band Noir Addiction. Yes I am very late opening this very special package from Italy but never mind that. We are doing it now and we are doing it live. It is very exciting to finally get to this project because Noir Addiction is already putting together another album. This was beautiful my friends. I have two albums of Pretty Things Don’t Last, one is splattered the other sleek black. A poster, a hype sticker and Soulpunx record label stickers! Tony has some great things to say about it too. Watch the action live on YouTube. A short but splendid episode! Check out Noir Addiction and add them to your liked songs on Spotify! I recommend listening to our episodes on Spotify where it is always much easier hear the audio after I clean it up.

By far my favorite OAS yet! Who doesn’t like this stuff now? Sure you hated it when you were in grade school but now you realize we need this “yacht” rock in our lives. Listening to it is nostalgic and relaxing. It brings you back to those days, yelling at your mom to turn the radio down or off! Just look at you now, your kids yelling at you to turn it down and off.

Am3n INK tattoos is located in Oklahoma City, OK. Tattoo artist Alex Valdez is a hidden gem in the OKC! Only 6 years in and this young man’s talent is outstanding. He does extremely good realistic portrait art too. It’s no surprise he is already booked out for September and October is filling up fast. Alex tells us a little bit about the tattoo business and how he got into it. From discovering his talent by doing his first tattoo, to the different experiences between the artist/client relationship, and more! His hidden talent is a blessing that he is grateful for and I am sure his clients are grateful for him! How great is it to be doing what you love for work! Amen! Extra! Extra! Listen all about it! Welcome back to the pod is Askmi Leitr! In Salt Lake City, UT it is approximately 7 blocks per 1 mile. Bryan would know because he has been riding his bike around SLC, UT for the Great Cycle Challenge USA - riding to fight kids cancer. He is about $50 away from his goal of $500! Like Tony says let’s help get him get over the hump! Every little bit counts through the month of September. Also, Askmi Leitr is involved with a couple of local shows this week and next. He gives us a bit more info on those shows and he has own ‘Record-of-the-Day’ as well. Best of all, he gives us a blend of Baladi with some LIVE drumming on his dumbek drum! Fantastic! Bryan’s one request was to follow a band that he is in on Instagram: Desert Echo. Thank you and enjoy! In this OAS season finale Tony takes us out properly with a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. No Sabbath, just Ozzy. What a great episode to honor the late great Prince of Darkness. Tony did this episode right and tasteful by putting a lot of thought into what songs he would pick and he gave us the heart of Ozzy's career. Thank you Tony for another great episode and we look forward to the next season of Open Air Sonar.

Arrrr! Introducing an American punk rock band with a metal fusion. Located in Salt Lake City, Utah, The Mutiny. Blimey! No pressure, no fireworks or anything flashy just chillin’.. What’s new with them? Besides getting straight to making new music for their eagerly awaiting fans, they have kept all vibes positive to make new band transitions smooth. The tambourine is so hot! Especially when I hear it played in a dark industrial rock band like Noir Addiction. Thank you Noir Addiction for hanging out with us last Saturday morning. It was evening for them over there in Italy. Nessie, we are very sorry that we missed you. It was my fault because we happen to have “daylight saving” time change over here in the US and I did not factor that into our plans. Not to worry though, all of the Noir Addiction members will be here again next season for more chatting and follow ups. The most important part of this episode’s message was the announcement of their first single, Serve Me Some Crime. This song rocks! It rocks hard and it pulls you in, you feel it and hear it, you won’t even have to think twice about it, you know you love it! Yes, it really is that good and the video is just as mind blowing as the music. This is first song off of the upcoming EP that will be released July 16th. Seriously, if this first song is that good we can not wait to hear the others. Yup, no doubt about it, these guys have everything, talent, edginess, decadence, style. They are simply… hot AF; music and all! Soundtrack- Noir Addiction: Serve Me Some Crime, Blow Me Away, I Feel You, Serve Me Some Crim

On this special episode of SDBD we have the super talented Americana musician singer songwriter Tara Shupeand her brother Daron Shupe (elder goth SLC) who happens to be a returning guest here on SDBD. This is a special episode because it is the debut of our “LIVE Studio Audience” edition. Please note that we had a few more people join us that we could not see on our YouTube channel. That was my fault because my settings were not adjusted accordingly. Next time for sure. Anyways! Tara and Daron are siblings from a family that has much experience traveling the country to perform bluegrass, folk and country music. They started at a very young age, 4 and 6, and they are still performing today on a regular basis. We had fun chatting about the Shupe family and the future plans for band in the making. That band would be a trio with Tara, Daron and they are looking for a bass player, hit ‘em up if you are a bass player who is interested. Tara says her future plan is to attend the University of Kentucky and get her masters degree in social work. She has plans to work with music and mental health. Such a great topic. ** Elderberry syrup is not just for boosting your immune system, it also helps with allergies.” -Spiritual Herb LadyWhen Tara gets back from school in Kentucky she is going to be getting her pop band Shupacabra back together to work on new music using the electronics. Heck yeAh yo. Thank you guys so much for hanging out LIVE with us and having some fun with our special edition episode of “LIVE Studio Audience”. For future reference, it’s a yes to pets during questions and comments. https://tarashupe.bandcamp.com/ https://tarashupe.com/ Soundtrack: Tara Shupe: The Destroyer, Voices Rising, Spiral Down, Where Your Heart Comes Through

Our favorite self produced top 100 release chart artist is back! Zach is back! As a returning guest, Zach Petersen. This time we chat about his zest to create music when the inspiration hits. He also talks about his AI videos and his plans to do a little more acoustic. Lately he has been taking a break from songwriting and putting his energy into his artwork. Tattoo quality art, portraits and realism so if anyone is interested in his tattoos, find him on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube… pretty much anywhere, Spotify…Zach Petersen is an awesome google search. That is Petersen with an “E”. Besides us having a bit of fun talking to my new AI friend Bernard, Zach tells us a bit more of where he got started and what his future plans are. Also he gives us an incredible LIVE acoustic performance! Thank you so much Zach. He is so dang talented, where is his manager?! wow. Anyways we had a lot of fun and he will be back with us next season for sure. Soundtrack: Zach Petersen -Throne -Locked n Loaded -Guilty -Riot

Ahhh, another episode of “What Is Tony Listening To Now”. Thank you Candie for that great disclaimer! Love it! Tony has been listening to a nice range of music lately. He goes avant-garde, a little indie-garage and honestly, I never heard a cover of Warlock before. Tony gives us some Blues and a soundtrack of blue plus more. Does anyone like Autolux, Legendary Pink Dots? Because he loves to mix it up. I like the experimental picks but nothing beats that ending with the Supertramp sax. The most important thing to take away from this episode is to take his advice: “Remember to listen to whatever the F you want to” - Tony Sandoval Question? Comments?
