Recognize is a longform docu-series analyzing the effect of media representation in women's athletics on society at large by exploring the ways we, as a culture, are losing out by keeping women’s sports on the sidelines.  We’ll talk with athletes, reporters, and experts on everything from pay parity to beauty standards to the ever-present “inspiration porn” in today’s coverage of women athletes.  Using a mix of news clips, original interviews, and archival tape, we’ll take an in-depth look at the larger stakes and contextualize for the listener why representation matters.  Hosted by Kelaine Conochan.
