Ep. 38 - The Tipsy Tourney: An Unexpected Victor
2022/03/24
Ep. 38- Unexpected Victor
The glorious battle at The Raging Bull is finally dwindling to its end and, much to my surprise, our three heroes have managed to hold on. The bout comes to a close with a winner, a bloody runner-up, an unruly contestant, and some sneaky scouting of the reward. We’ll, um, let you listen to find out who is who.
As the trio makes a hasty exit, Adam searches for an answer to the panging calls of hunger he feels after the adrenaline fades. To Adam, the food cart of warm pies must have practically had a halo above it. After Dirk scares the owner of the cart half to death, the gang hurries on to the Lucky Lime for some liar’s dice. However, they are quickly sickened by the disingenuous “pirate” theme of the bar. Will any of them be forced to walk the plank?

Show Notes Ep. 1
Three Dragonborn on motorcycles cruise up to a bar… Wait, that sounds like a bad D&D joke, but it’s what really happens in today’s episode. Dirk, Adam, and Bertram are enjoying a pleasant evening at the Drunken Breeze Tavern. Hijinks ensue that lead to a bar fight — Classic! — and Dirk is mistaken for a well-known bounty hunter.

Ep. 2 - The Assassin & the Airship: Plotting Unfolds
2021/03/21
Creepy warehouse where you meet up with a sketchy character? Obviously! Rumors of an assassination being planned on the IHA Silver Sail lead our heroes to Bertram’s connection for fake IDs, but everything goes wrong when they make the exchange. Oh, and a Sleep Spell is cast that, well, doesn’t quite go as planned.

Ep. 3 - The Assassin & the Airship: Escaping Petrid
2021/03/21
Wow! A Sleep Spell turns out to be less lethal to targets who aren’t close to ledges. Who knew? (Literally anyone…)
That bastard Davis sold out our heroes and now they have to do battle with Petrid’s pet Displacer Beast — which is apparently very difficult with the whole in-and-out of reality thing. Will the party escape from the clutches of Petrid, the mad crime lord?

Show Notes Ep. 4
You know what they say, if you wanna get to know a guy, go to his childhood home and meet his parents. And we thought Adam was the shady one… Apparently his parents are on a whole other level as Bertram discovers when he overhears their conversation.
Dirk dons the role of Sir Fredrick Welsely so the heroes can board the IHA Silver Sail for some much needed luxury. It’s a good thing Dirk finally took a bath or they wouldn’t be let on board!

Ep. 5- The Assassin & the Airship: Tour of the Silver Sail
Dirk has a slip of the tongue, giving away Bertram and Adam’s real names when introducing them. Bertram is a bit distraught to say the least.
While Bertram cools off, Dirk and Adam take the time to investigate the ship. They discover that - surprise, surprise! - there’s lots of ways it can go boom.
After meeting the sarcastic gnomish engine crew, Dirk becomes weary there may be a larger plot afoot.

Ep.6 - The Assassin & the Airship: Welcoming Dinner
2021/04/11
Ep. 6
Our heroes struggle to dress themselves for dinner aboard the IHA Silver Sail. And, let’s face it, a fancy dinner is not exactly where Dirk belongs, so he sneaks off before dinner begins to deal with Zed in the engine room.
Bertram and Adam, still in the dining room, tackle the institution of marriage.
Dirk uses his Mage Hand to elicit more shenanigans and everything goes wrong — or does it? Dun dun dunnn!

2021/05/02
Ep. 9
Who let the, um, heroes out?
After they break free of their cell, they rush out to find their things. While doing so, they run into the oh-so prevalent hero dilemma: Do we save our own skins or risk that to help someone in need?
Of course, they decide to help as the ship is under siege by pirates!
Amid the chaos, the assassin is finally revealed, along with a very unexpected accomplice -- gasp!

2021/05/09
Ep. 10
As the group deals with Nia, a Frost spell goes awry, cutting a cable and throwing everything sideways! An unexpected effect makes it difficult for Adam and Bertram to hold their prisoner.
The crew of the IHA Silver Sail stops being so dense and admits their mistake of blaming our heroes. Because why would they put dead bodies in their own beds?! Bertram for sure would not have stood for that — Gross!

2021/05/12
Ep. 10.5
Take a seat, relax, and enjoy our bonus episode!
DM Raistlin discusses some of the changes our heroes notice when coming to Igelphia. But, Igelphia is not the only thing that’s changed…
The gang gets a new look, new stuff, and, well, not so new pasts that are creeping up on them. Turns out, the past is not as “behind them” as they had originally hoped.

2021/05/16
Ep. 11
“Now what do we do when we are sad?” — “Go get drunk?” — “Absolutely!”
Dirk uses the ancient art of drinking to help cheer up Bertram. Of course, their night of irresponsibility means LOTS of coffee to help them recover, which Adam is so kind as to bring to them.
Duty calls when there is a break-in at a warehouse on the docks. Our heroes journey there only to discover that the evidence just doesn’t add up, taking them into the sewers.

Ep. 12
Follow the nasty-ass smell. Follow the nasty-ass smell.
Follow follow follow follow, Follow the nasty-ass smell.
They’re off to find the bad guys, the terrible bad guys of course.
*To the tune of “Follow the Yellow Brick Road”
Our heroes find themselves nearly overcome by the revolting smell that permeates throughout the sewer system. They use their detective skills to follow any signs of passage, hopeful to catch up to the perpetrators.
Along their not-so-glamorous journey, they find some squatters huddled around a garbage fire. Yes, let’s add burning trash smell to the already disgusting sewers. At first these squatters seem like friendly hobos, but they soon reveal themselves to be murder hobos with something up their tattered sleeves.
