In 1 Corinthians 12:4–7, Paul reminds us that the Holy Spirit gives each believer unique gifts, not for personal recognition or success, but for the good of others. Pastor Derek explores how discovering and using our spiritual gifts helps us serve the people around us and build up the church. Your gift matters, and it was never meant to stop with you. What happens when trying harder, working smarter, and relying on your own strength still aren’t enough? In 2 Corinthians 12:8–10, Paul discovers that God doesn’t always remove our hardships, but He promises that His grace is sufficient and His power is made perfect in weakness. Pastor Derek explores how the Holy Spirit strengthens us when we reach the end of our own abilities, reminding us that we don’t have to face life’s hardest moments through sheer grit alone. Sometimes, the strength we need begins when we learn to depend on God. Pastor Derek explores how God can use both joy and suffering to transform us into people who reflect the character of Jesus, reminding us that even when life doesn’t make sense, our pain doesn’t have to be without purpose.
