Neutrinos are elusive particles that pass through everything, including you, without a trace. But why should we care? Neutrinos could be key to understanding the universe and, intriguingly, UFOs. Unveil the truth behind one of the most misquoted maxims in mystic history with John Gilbert, a military veteran turned Hermetic scholar. In "Not as Above, Not as Below: How We Got the Emerald Tablet Wrong," John challenges the well-known phrase “as above, so below,” a cornerstone of Western mystical and occult philosophy that supposedly encapsulates the "Law of Correspondence" between the macrocosm and microcosm. While not arguing for or against the validity of Correspondence in principle, Not as Above, Not as Below is a call to set the record straight on where these ideas came from, and what the "Emerald Tablet" may actually be talking about. What You'll Discover: A reevaluation of the "Emerald Tablet," questioning the origins of the Law of Correspondence and even the title "Emerald Tablet" itself. How traditional interpretations of the Hermetic text have been misguided and why this matters in understanding esoteric philosophy. John's journey from tank commander to translator, merging military discipline with academic curiosity. About John Gilbert: John Gilbert's path from M1 Tank Crewman to Arabic Cryptologic Linguist has uniquely equipped him to tackle the linguistic and philosophical challenges of ancient texts. His 21 years of military service and expertise in cybersecurity have led him to his current passion for writing. In this amazing book his mission to clarify centuries-old misconceptions in Hermetic philosophy has earned him the prestigious Order of the Gold Stone award. Highlights: A detailed look at how the phrase "as above, so below" might not originate from where we thought. The significance of John's translation in redefining our understanding of Hermetic texts. The importance of revisiting original source materials to set the historical record straight.
