Description

Welcome! My name is Natasha, and this is my podcast! 'It's Okay, I'm Learning!' is an authentic space for me to talk with like-minded individuals about moments and ideas that have helped us to learn, and that have shaped us to be the people we are today. I wanted to create a podcast where we talk about the low times in life that helped us get to the high times. I want to show how every day is still another day we are learning and growing. That no matter who you are, or where you are in life; We all have our own battles to fight each day.My hope is that along the way I can open a few minds to new ideas, or help even one person take their life back. Thanks for stopping by!

Episode 002- Sustainability, Meditation, & Changing Your Perspective With Sadie Marquis !
2021/05/17
Welcome Back !!!  This week on the podcast we are talking with Sadie Marquis!  My conversation with Sadie was such a fun time! They are such a bundle of energy, with so much power behind what they say!  Sadie is a cook as well as a writer and is clearly very passionate about both.  I got to learn so much about Sadie in our time together and it was truly a joy to hear their life story and how they ended up at this moment!  Sadie has learned many lessons throughout the years and expresses how grateful she is to have experienced the hard times because it has allowed her to become more in tune with what she really desires.  I hope you all enjoy listening to our conversation!  In this episode, Sadie and I begin by talking about their experience living in a van and their passion for sustainability. We then dive into Sadies journey of mediation, and shadow work. Sadie and I also dive deep into her journey of losing her job and how she had to change her perspective in order to keep up with her own life. Sadie tells me how her life was changing and she knew she needed to make changes for herself to live a happier life.  Finally, we chat about Sadie's poetry book as well as their writing in general! Episode 001- Positive Masculinity, Archetypes, & Daily Wins With Dean Bentley!
2021/04/27
Welcome to the first episode!  This week on the podcast we are talking with Dean Bentley!  Dean is a self-empowerment coach from Australia who works with people to help them rediscover who they are, what they truly desire, and how they wish to show up in the world. He helps others overcome limiting beliefs, childhood wounding, and trust issues to help them step into their potential and personal power!  After having a deeply spiritual psychedelic experience, Dean jumped into the world of spirituality head first! Through that process, Dean found himself on a very feminine vibration that had him questioning his own reality at the time. This sent Dean on an even bigger journey of self-discovery than he could have imagined and has landed him where he is now. Dean is now very passionate about connecting back to brotherhood and positive masculinity.   In this episode, we dive into Dean's journey of learning what he believes makes our beliefs true, and how he helps others to understand where their beliefs are coming from. We discuss what archetypes are and how that shows up in the work he does, and how you can use it to see how you are showing up in your own life as well! We also dive into Dean’s personal daily practice and how he shows up for himself every day!  Dean is a truly genuine light of energy to be around! He is so passionate about finding small moments of joy in each day he lives. He is consistently working towards facing his own fears and pushing himself to open up to his true higher-self purpose and I am so beyond inspired by the way he looks at the world!    Sources cited in the podcast:    Stanislav Grof: http://www.stangrof.com/  Caroline Myss (Archetype Cards): https://www.myss.com/  Carl Jung: https://www.psychologistworld.com/cognitive/carl-jung-analytical-psychology  Joseph Cambell: https://www.britannica.com/biography/Joseph-Campbell-American-author    Mens Groups:  https://mankindproject.org/  http://www.bandofbrothers.org/  https://www.sacredsons.com/  https://www.drglover.com/online-support-groups.html#:~:text=I%20launched%20the%20No%20More,love%2C%20sex%2C%20and%20life.      Connect With Dean:    Instagram: @theparadigmupgrade  Website: theparadigmupgrade.com.au    Connect With Me (Natasha):    Instagram (Podcast): @itsokay.imlearning  Instagram (Personal): @flashy_tashy  Tik Tok: @itsokay.imlearning    Please make sure to subscribe, rate and review!!   Thank you!!    Natasha   xoxoxo    Support the show (https://paypal.me/natjane2)

Episode 000 - Intro Episode!
2021/03/27
Hello, Thanks again for stopping by!  I just wanted to do a quick introduction video to start this podcast off and allow for all of you to understand me and this podcast a bit better.  My name is Natasha, I am 24 and from Western Canada.  I consider myself very creative, as well as incredibly open-minded. I am spiritual, and continuously inspired by the world around me! I would have to say that probably 80% of my day consists of me trying to be a better version of myself - or at least thinking about it.  This isn’t a new thing for me though, it’s something I've spent many years with. Growing up my mom introduced me to spiritual books quite young, or ‘self-help' books as they like to call them nowadays. And I guess that’s where this all starts.  I’ve always been inspired by spirituality, whether that be manifesting, affirmations, visualizations, sound healing, tarot and oracle reading, or other holistic medicines. The list goes on, once you open your mind to spirituality, there is so much to explore!  Which leads us to this podcast!  It’s okay, I’m learning is a phrase I say to myself at least ten times a day. This phrase is something I've recently started using to remind myself that life is a continuous lesson and I am truly just learning as I go. This phrase helps me to remember not to be so hard on myself and to allow myself to make the right mistakes I need to make to grow.  I want this podcast to be a place of creativity, learning, and most of all just an open-minded space for people to discuss their spiritual journey in life. I will be having different people on each episode to question them and learn from them in hopes it can help to inspire all of you who listen, as well as make you feel safe, in knowing that you also aren’t alone. And that no matter how old we are, where we were born, or the way we were raised that we are all here for our own reasons, our own lessons, and that along the way it might not always be pretty. But it okay, because we are learning.  So with that being said. I'll leave it here.  I am unsure as of now how often my episodes will air. To begin I'm hoping every two weeks you should be hearing from me. Although that could change to more depending on life!  If you are still here - Thank you so much for sticking around to the end!! I will see you all again soon with my first guest! Support the show (https://paypal.me/natjane2)
