We remember Markie Post, talk about 4 scandals you couldn't get off your tv in the 80s, and A couple of radio hits from 1985 that were actually sung mostly by Americans.

After picking up the pieces of what was supposed to be something fun and different I pieced together our lost episode talking about the 1982 movie "Vigilante" while the episode may be held together with chewing gum and duct tape (or duck tape) and maybe A band-aid here and there we enjoyed the film and threw in some of our usual banter.

Two becomes 3 in this episode where Poppy joins the team and we say goodbye to Richard Donner (the director, not the actor) and watch his 1985 classic "The Goonies". This time around we talk about Kevin Smith's upcoming revival of the "Masters Of The Universe" series and the 3 times that Tommy James and The Shondells were remembered in the 1980s pop charts. After, we discuss watching the 1982 fantasy B movie "Sorceress". And the episode wraps up with us remembering some of the works of Frank Bonner and Ned Beatty who both recently passed.

In this episode Ali reads A Roald Dahl book where A kid creates A formula from things around the house which results in big grandmas and has mixed results on chickens (doesn't work in real life). We both watch the movie "Horror Show" which may be known to some as "House 3" where the spirit of an executed killer is brought back to physical form with electricity (also doesn't work in real life). This episode predominately focuses on the teams childhood fixation with the beautiful Erin Gray. We discuss Erin A little off camera before we watch episodes of the sitcom "Silver Spoons", Sci-fi show "Buck Rogers", and "The Hitchhiker" horror anthology series showing us that Erin not only has beauty but she also has acting range as well by heating up the small screen in 3 different genres! Another installment of Ben and Ali talking about media from yesteryear. Ali shares some of the better lines from the movie "Tango and Cash" which starred Brion James and Robert  Z’Dar with a couple of guys named Stallone and Russell in supporting roles and how much the movie differs from the book version. In our most combustible episode yet Ben and Ali remember Tawny Kitaen.  Next, we kindle the fire as Ali takes us back to when they made A TV movie about A Michigan woman's homespun take on marriage counseling with "The Burning Bed" before we visit the first of Harvey Weinstein's sexually inappropriate interactions with A co-worker with the slasher classic "The Burning". Be careful it's still hot as the grandpa from "The Princess Bride" busts A killer in the Columbo episode "Murder, Smoke, and Shadows". Ben takes on the literary masterpiece from the Choose Your Own Adventure series "Who Killed Harlowe Thrombey" before Ali gives us A glimpse into the past by telling us the #1 song of 1981. Afterward we move on to the brain eating classic "Return Of The Living Dead" before Ali tells us a bit of the Stephen King short story "The Raft". Our longest episode to date contains an ironic rant about excessive movie length. Ali tells us about the Scooby Doo series "13 Ghosts" where Scoob and the gang face actual ghosts not creeps dressed up.  Also, did you know about Night Of The Comet and it's strong female characters?
