Exodus 16:15 (NIV) tells us, "When the Israelites saw it, they said to each other, 'What is it?' For they did not know what it was."  Isn't it interesting how often in our lives we may ask ourselves and one another, what is this,  just like the Israelites? Sometimes, we miss the hand of the Lord at work simply because it appears unfamiliar or doesn't align with our expectations.  But here's a thought: perhaps God purposely shows up in these unexpected ways, challenging our perceptions and pushing us to depend on and seek Him more.
