When "FOMO" turns into "The Joy of Missing Out"

It doesn’t always feel the best to be left out or miss events, whether it be intentionally or unintentionally. FOMO can bring several negative emotions. In this episode, Alex and Rasheeda turn their feelings of inadequacy and insecurity into positive thoughts about not having to be everywhere all the time. It is okay to not be invited or attend every event. You can find joy in missing out! Turning 30 was kind of a big deal for Alex and Rasheeda!  It was a  huge milestone in their lives. They’ve crossed over into a new decade, and have survived their twenties. In their twenties, they learned so much and wanted to make sure that they become more intentional. ‘Talk Thirty to Me’ speaks to the mindset shifts that have come with entering a new decade, new habits that have been developed, and new vigor to pursue their dreams and walk in purpose. Age is nothing but a number, and every day we get the chance to start something new!

What’s new with you? In this episode, catch up with what we have done in 2021. We have taken on new responsibilities, projects, and endeavors. It caused us to be a bit more organized, focused, and disciplined. These new roles and responsibilities took some time out of our schedules and may have caused a bit of havoc; but we overcame feeling overwhelmed, doubtful, and anxious. We had to step away from our podcast for a short time to get things in order, and deal with all of the newness that has happened this year! But we’re back and ready to share all of the exciting things that have happened with you all. Overall, we grew as individuals and as professionals with more clarity and confidence.We’re excited to close out 2021, and looking forward to what 2022 brings! Look out for a new season this upcoming year.
