Every Seed Has A Story | Future Faith | Ps Cody Byrne | TRIBES

Every seed has a story. Behind every act of generosity is a life being transformed by the gospel. This Sunday we were reminded that what we sow in faith does not just touch those around us — it reaches generations we may never meet. From a Bible passed down through four generations, to testimonies of provision, restored finances, and young people encountering the Holy Spirit for the first time — we saw the fruit of seeds faithfully sown. As Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 9:10-11, God multiplies the seed of the sower and increases the harvest of righteousness, enriching us in every way so that generosity overflows in thanksgiving to Him. We are not building rooms for the sake of rooms. We are building room for revival, room for the next generation, room for God to be glorified. Every gift bears fruit. Every life is worth it. And the best is still ahead.

Begging To Give | Thank You Sunday | The Grace Of Giving | Ps Cody Byrne | TRIBES
2026/09/23

On Thank You Sunday, we were reminded that the greatest gift we have ever received is not comfort or prosperity, but the forgiveness of sin through the blood of Jesus Christ. Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness, and today we lifted that banner high. We explored what it means to be a people who are not just receivers of grace, but responders to it. Drawn from 2 Corinthians 9, we learned that God loves a cheerful giver, one who has decided in their heart, not out of compulsion, but out of gratitude for all He has done. Generosity is not about what is in your hands, but what has gripped your heart. When grace takes hold, giving becomes worship. Your seed goes where you cannot, producing righteousness, thanksgiving, and souls for the kingdom. If you missed this message, we encourage you to watch it back and come ready next Sunday with a prepared and grateful heart.
Excelling In This Act Of Grace | The Grace Of Giving | Ps Cody Byrne | TRIBES

What if generosity was not about what God wants from you, but about what he has already given you? That is the heart of this week's message from 2 Corinthians 8:9-15. The grace of Jesus Christ, who though He was rich became poor so that we might become rich, is the foundation for everything we do with open hands. Grace does not just change what we believe about money. It changes how we live, how we give, and who we become. When the grace of God grips your heart, desire follows, and desire leads to action that cannot stay locked inside. If you have been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like something has a hold on your heart that should not, this message is for you. Come and let the Lord wash over you.
The Generous Spirit | Ps Cody Byrne | The Grace of Giving | TRIBES

What if generosity had nothing to do with how much you have? The Macedonian church gave out of extreme poverty and severe affliction, yet Paul called it an overflow of wealth. Why? Because their giving wasn't driven by circumstances. It was driven by the grace of God working within them. This week, Ps Cody Byrne reminds us that true generosity begins with a revelation of who God is. He did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all (Romans 8:32). When that truth gets into your heart, it changes the way you hold everything, your time, your words, your resources, your life. Paul challenged the Corinthian church to excel in this grace also (2 Corinthians 8:7). That same call is for us today. Not out of compulsion, but out of trust in a Father who owns it all and lacks nothing. Join us in our brand new series, The Grace of Giving and discover what it looks like to carry a generous spirit.
In The Waiting | Madison Bothe | TRIBES

Are you in a season of waiting? This Sunday, TRIBES very own Madison Bothe brought a powerful word reminding us that waiting is not passive — it is active trust in the Promise Keeper. From Hebrews 10:35-37, we were challenged to hold fast to our confidence in Christ, embrace patient endurance, and keep doing the will of God. Whether you have been waiting months or years, God has not forgotten you. He is not late. Madison gave us practical handlebars from Scripture for the middle season: thank God and remember His faithfulness, surrender to heaven's calendar, take God at His Word, use what is in your hand, celebrate others, and resolve that Jesus is enough. If you are at the half way mark and thinking about stopping — this message is for you. The middle is not the end. Catch the full sermon here on our page and share it with someone who needs to hear it today.
Promise Keeper | Ps Cody Byrne | TRIBES

We live in a disposable world but our God is not a disposable God. He is a covenant-keeping, promise-keeping Father whose faithfulness stretches to a thousand generations (Deuteronomy 7:9). Every promise he has ever made, he has kept - from Abraham to the empty tomb to Pentecost. This Sunday, Ps Cody reminded us that God does not treat his people as disposable. He pursues the wandering, restores the fallen, and remains faithful even when we are not (2 Timothy 2:13). The cross is the ultimate proof - the new covenant sealed in the blood of Jesus (Luke 22:20). And because He is faithful, we are called to be faithful in our walk with God, in our marriages, in our families, and in our church community. Faithfulness is love that learned how to stay. If you missed it, come back and watch. There is a word here for everyone.
The Prayer of Faith | Ps Cody Byrne | Forged by Fire | TRIBES

Welcome to TRIBES. Join Ps Cody Byrne for our final week of our FORGED BY FIRE series. What does it mean to not just believe IN God, but to actually believe God? As we concluded our series in James 5, Ps Cody reminds us that the prayer of faith is not wishful thinking — it is confident trust in a God who heals, forgives, restores, and raises up. James makes it clear: the prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. Elijah was a man just like us, and yet his fervent prayer shut and opened the heavens. That same God is with us today. If you are sick, there is prayer. If you carry unconfessed sin, there is forgiveness. If you are broken, there is a faith that God will raise you up. The anointing breaks the yoke — and any day is a good day for God to move in your life. Come expecting. Come believing. He is faithful, He is good, and He still heals.
Don't Quit | Ps Cody Byrne | Forged by Fire | TRIBES

Welcome to TRIBES. Join Ps Cody Byrne for week eight of our FORGED BY FIRE series. What if the delay you are experiencing is not denial, but an invitation to trust God more deeply? This Sunday, Ps Cody opened James 5 and we heard a word that is simple but powerful: don't quit. Don't quit praying, believing, serving, or trusting. Like the farmer who returns to the field every morning without a cloud in the sky, our faith calls us to remain steadfast even when we cannot see the shoreline. James points us to Job, to the prophets, and ultimately to Jesus himself, who did not quit in Gethsemane or on Calvary. The pressure you are under has a purpose. God is forming something beautiful in the depths of your soul. You may be just a few hundred meters from your breakthrough. Come back to the field. Go again. You are not a quitter. Watch or listen to this week's message and let faith rise in your heart. James 5:7-11 is a word for every weary soul today.
The Godly Heart vs the Greedy Heart | Ps Cody Byrne | Forged by Fire | TRIBES

Welcome to TRIBES. Join Ps Cody Byrne for week seven of our FORGED BY FIRE series. Money is not the problem — the love of it is. This week's message from James 5 cuts straight to the heart of what we truly trust in. Are your resources a tool for the kingdom, or have they quietly become your security? James was not condemning wealth. He was confronting misplaced worship. God is not anti-rich — he is anti-greed. He is not anti-abundance — he is anti-idolatry. The question is simple: does money have you? Whether you have much or are still sowing in faith, God is calling us to trust in him over gold, to give rather than withhold, and to live for something far greater than personal comfort. As Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds us, it is God who gives us the power to get wealth — and he gives it to establish his purposes, not just our own. If this stirs something in you, we would love to have you join us. Watch the full message and let the Word do its work.
Come Up Here | Ps Christie Blaikie | Forged by Fire | TRIBES

This week we are joined by Ps Christie Blaikie, Senior Paster of Oasis Church and the ACC WA President. Ps Christie poses the question, have you ever been so caught up in the chaos of everyday life that you lost sight of what truly matters? In Revelation 4, John is invited by Jesus to "come up here" - to step above the noise of earth and behold the throne of God. That perspective changes everything. The seven churches in Revelation 2 and 3 were not discipled by bad intentions - they were simply discipled by the wrong things. Comfort, reputation, compromise, and wealth had quietly replaced their devotion to God. Sound familiar? We do not drift in a day, but we do drift. Here is the truth: heaven is not anxious. God is not pacing nervously. He is seated on the throne, composed and victorious. If our King is not panicking, why are we? Real discipleship begins with prolonged exposure to beholding God (2 Corinthians 3:18). When we see Him clearly, everything else gets reordered. Come up here. Get a different perspective. The throne changes everything.
The War Within | Ps Cody Byrne | Forged by Fire | TRIBES

What if the greatest battle you're facing isn't around you, but within you? This week Ps Cody Byrne dove deep into James 4, uncovering the war between flesh and spirit that rages in every believer's heart. Pastor James doesn't pull punches, he exposes the silent killers of jealousy, selfish ambition, and pride that poison us from the inside out. But here's the good news: Jesus has already won the victory! The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead now dwells in YOU. Are you tired of fighting the same battles? It's time to submit to God, resist the devil, and draw near to the One who transforms hearts. This isn't about behaviour modification, it's about heart transformation. The Christian life is living from union with Christ, walking by the Spirit, and daily crucifying the flesh. Your victory starts with surrender — Will you let Him in today?
The Weight of What You Say | Ps Chenaniah Magele | FORGED BY FIRE | TRIBES

What if the very thing you can't control is the thing God wants to transform? This Sunday, Ps Chenaniah tackled one of Scripture's most challenging passages: James 3 and the power of the tongue. James doesn't hold back, he calls it "a restless evil, full of deadly poison" that no human can tame. But here's the hope: what we cannot change in our own strength, God can transform through His Spirit. Your words are shaping your future. They're building up or tearing down those around you. The question isn't whether you can control your tongue through self-discipline, it's whether you'll surrender it to the Holy Spirit. We can have tongues OF fire (like Acts 2, speaking life and truth) or tongues ON fire (destroying relationships and sowing division). Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. This isn't about trying harder, it's about falling on the Rock and letting Him break us and remake us from the inside out. How are you speaking over your life, your season, and the people God has placed around you?
What causes a Believer to withhold? | Ps Joel Chelliah | Forged by Fire | TRIBES
2026/07/06
Send us Fan Mail
Join us for week three of our Forged by Fire series with guest minister, Ps Joel Chelliah — Senior Paster of Centrepoint Church and the ACC President.
Ps Joel poses the question, are you good at spotting a fake? Reminding us that real faith isn't just about what we say, it's about how we live. James 2 challenges us: "Faith without deeds is dead." This isn't contradicting grace; it's revealing what genuine faith looks like in action.
When God blesses us, we can't let those blessings blind us to the needs around us. Like Esther, we might be surrounded by hurting people without even realising it. Jesus told His disciples, "YOU give them something to eat." He's saying the same to us today—stop looking at what you don't have and start using what God's already placed in your hands.
The cure for worry isn't just "don't worry" it's getting a revelation of how much your Heavenly Father loves you. When you truly understand His love, generosity flows naturally. Your life, your time, your resources, they all change when you've had a real encounter with Jesus.
Has your faith transformed your life, or is it just words?
Found on the Rock | Mitchell Fourie | Forged by Fire | TRIBES

Are you a hearer or a doer of God's Word? Week two of our Forged by Fire series at our 5pm gathering, Mitchell Fourie dove into James 1:19-27, exploring three types of people who hear Scripture: those who hear but don't obey, those who hear and obey, and those who think they're obeying but have drifted off course. Like building a house on rock versus sand, our foundation matters when life's storms hit. Here's the truth: we can't do this alone. We need to abide in Jesus daily, letting His Word be the spirit level for our lives. It's not about perfection—it's about getting back to basics. Love God, love others, walk humbly, and be salt and light in your sphere of influence. If you've been running from God's call, feeling discouraged in obedience, or realise you've been coasting spiritually, tonight is the night to come back to Him. No shame, no condemnation—just freedom in Christ to start fresh.
You call me 'Lord' | Forged by Fire | Murray Byrne | TRIBES

Who are you when no one's watching? James, Jesus' own brother, didn't introduce himself with bragging rights, just as "a bondservant." That's the heart of true faith: deflecting glory back to Jesus and serving Him with everything we've got. Join us for week two of our Forged by Fire series with Murray Byrne as we unpacked James 1:19-27, discovering that real Christianity isn't just hearing God's Word, it's doing it. Quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger. It's about looking in the mirror and seeing who you really are, then letting God's living Word transform you from the inside out. Religion without action is worthless, but faith that visits the hurting and keeps itself unstained from the world? That's pure devotion. God calls you His "firstfruits"—the very best of His creation. He's not changing on you, and He's placed specific gifts inside you to use for His kingdom. The question is: what are you bringing into every room you enter? Your presence matters. Your obedience matters. Let's activate what God's planted in us!
