When the Seasons Change and You’re Not Ready
2025/11/18
Change can come without warning, and sometimes, our hearts just aren’t ready for it. In this heartfelt episode of the Gracefully Loved Podcast, Sherley opens up about what it looks like to walk through unexpected transitions with faith and grace. Whether it’s a shift in motherhood, relationships, or personal identity, Sherley reminds us that even when life catches us off guard, God is never surprised.
Through honest reflection and biblical encouragement, this episode helps you find peace in the unknown and strength in the One who holds every season of your life.
Scripture Inspiration:
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NIV)
Tune in and be reminded that even when you’re not ready for the change—God’s grace already is.
Where Have We Been?
2025/11/11
After a sacred pause, the Gracefully Loved Podcast returns with a heartwarming and faith-filled update! In this special comeback episode, Sherley shares a tender conversation about seasons of transition, rediscovery, and God’s gentle hand in the waiting. You’ll hear how her sister Daphne has embraced the beautiful (and stretching) journey of motherhood and marriage, and how God has been rekindling Sherley’s creative spirit, reminding her that art and storytelling are powerful forms of worship.
This episode is an invitation to reflect on your own quiet seasons, the ones where God seems silent, but is actually preparing you for something new. If you’ve been waiting, wondering, or simply trying to find your rhythm again, this episode will remind you that the pause has a purpose.
Scripture
“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”— Isaiah 43:19 (ESV)
Tune in, be encouraged, and step with us into this new season of grace, creativity, and renewed calling.
Being stretched in our faith and finances
2024/05/29
Trusting God to provide for your needs when finances are tight can stretch your faith. Everything in God's Timing
2024/05/15
Everything unfolds according to the divine plan and schedule set forth by God. God is all-knowing, all-powerful, and omnipresent, and therefore, His timing is perfect and beyond human understanding. As believers, we will eventually reap the rewards of their efforts in due time.
Trust in God's timing, even when circumstances may seem uncertain or challenging. God's timing is perfect, and His plans are ultimately for our good, even if we cannot fully comprehend them in the present moment.

Don't be silent and just assume
2024/05/01
Assuming the worst can be a slippery slope leading to unnecessary division, mistrust, and misunderstanding. Assuming the worst about someone or a situation often stems from a lack of knowledge or understanding, fueled by stereotypes or preconceived notions. However, this approach hampers meaningful dialogue and connection. Instead, fostering open-mindedness and curiosity allows for genuine engagement and the opportunity to learn from one another's perspectives. By refraining from silent assumptions and actively seeking understanding, we pave the way for empathy, and tolerance, cultivating a richer relationship and understanding for one another.

The moment you understand the principle of the Kingdom of God, the devil cannot control you anymore. Parenting as a Christian Mom
2024/03/26
As Christian mothers, it's vital that we carefully consider how we communicate with our children and the language we use. Our words hold immense power; they can either uplift our children or tear them down.
We should raise our children to embrace a deep love for God and Jesus, guiding them to live by biblical standards rather than conforming to worldly norms.
Discipline is necessary, but it must never be driven by anger or frustration. Instead, let's prioritize entering into God’s presence, allowing ourselves to find peace. From there, we can seek guidance from the Holy Spirit to discipline our children in alignment with God's Word.
Our actions and words towards our children will shape the values of future generations, including our grandchildren. It's crucial to instill biblical principles in our children, steering them away from inheriting our traumas and generational burdens. If we don't address and heal from our own struggles, they risk being passed down. Thus, breaking negative cycles and pursuing healing is essential to leave a positive legacy for generations to come.
Scriptures
Proverbs 18:21
”The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.“
Proverbs 22:6
”Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.“
James 1:19-20
”Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires. So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.“

It's A Choice
2024/02/13
In life, we're presented with numerous choices. The paths our lives take are a direct result of the decisions we make. When we allow the guidance of the Holy Spirit to inform our choices, life tends to flow more smoothly. However, when we let our emotions, driven by our fleshly desires, dictate our decisions, chaos often ensues. As believers, the choices we make can either bring us nearer to Jesus or push us farther away, especially during difficult times.
