Bison Dele, born Brian Williams, was a natural born athlete, a first round NBA draft pick, and an NBA champion, until his final seasons with the Detroit Pistons when he decided to walk away from his career after battling with depression. He was living his best life until July of 2002, when Dele, his girlfriend and the captain of his boat went missing. In June of 2007, WWE wrestler Chris Benoit murdered his wife and child before committing suicide. There has been a lot of speculation as to why this could have happened...CTE, mental illness, roid rage, you name it. This week we will be going over what exactly happened to his family and some possible motives he might have had for killing them. In June of 1994, Nicole Brown Simpson was finally free from 17 years of abuse at the hands of former NFL hall of famer OJ Simpson. Canada's most infamous serial killer, Robert "Willy" Pickton preyed on women through not for profit parties that served more as opportunities to score sex, drugs and alcohol. Even after an attempted murder, the police set him free. It wasn't until someone who worked at the Pickton Pig Farm came forward with information that Willy's land was dug up and the world discovered 49 women had been murdered in the most brutal ways imaginable. On June 20th, 2001, Texas mother drowned her five children one by one after her husband left for work. Her attorneys argue she was legally insane at the time of the murders. Others argued that Andrea knew right from wrong when she did the unthinkable. Tara Calico seemingly disappeared out of thin air while riding her bike in September of 1988. The 19-year old rode along New Mexico State Road 47 every single day, but on this day she told her mother she would be home by noon and never showed up. It seemed like there was nothing to go off of in order to find her... no evidence, no body, no witnesses. In 2001, 24-year-old Chandra Levy was on cusp of accomplishing her wildest dreams. She was graduating with her masters, finishing up an internship with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and hoping to begin a career with the FBI. When no one hears from Chandra for almost a week, secrets become exposed as the public soon learns of Chandra’s relationship with a married congressman. Randall Woodfield seemed to have it all growing up. On the outside he was a star athlete that ended up being drafted to the Green Bay Packers following his college career. On the inside he was a sexual exhibitionist who had a history of indecent exposure and crimes that were swept under the rug for years. It wasn't until he was dropped from the NFL that his crimes escalated to full blown murder. He drove all around Interstate 5 murdering and sexually assaulting victims. It was said that he could have murdered around 44 people and committed hundreds of other crimes. He was sentenced to life in prison plus 157 years. After meeting on a family vacation in 2012, Conrad Roy and Michelle Carter opened up to each other immediately and began talking and texting every day for years. Conrad shared his experiences with mental health and his suicidal thoughts. Michelle was a supportive influence in his life until July of 2014, when police find Conrad dead in his vehicle from carbon monoxide poisoning in Fairhaven, Massachussets. Fan Man-Yee was working in a nightclub as a hostess when she met Chan Man-Lok. They quickly became intertwined because of their lifestyles...she was a prostitute and drug addict and he was a pimp and drug dealer. Their friendship was going well until Fan Man-Yee decided to steal from Chan Man-Lok. When he found out she was to pay him back in more ways than one. Bryce Laspisa was getting ready to start his sophomore year at Sierra College when his best friend and girlfriend noticed he began acting erratic. Bryce was abusing drugs and alcohol, and even giving away his belongings. He was supposedly driving home in August of 2013 when he began acting very strange and was never heard from again.
