They spill the tea on their first kiss and what it was like to hide their engagement for 10 days. Isaac talks about his experience getting endowed and we get a glimpse of the patriarchal grip! Together they underwent a faith crisis, dismantling gender roles, traditions, and even politics. Coming out stronger, happier, and way better looking, tune in to hear all about the tale of star-crossed apostates!

Jen left Mormonism and eloped, got a dog, and started a candle business with her nevermo and highly heathenous husband, Adri. Together, they run The ExMo Candle Co. After years of self-hatred on the altar of a religion that wasn’t actually being honest with her, Jen finds a huge amount of catharsis in pouring her issues with the church into a jar, and then lighting it on fire. Whether it’s the Licked Cupcake candle thumbing its nose at purity culture, or Lazy Learner embracing the insults coming from God’s loving mouthpiece, Jen and Adri’s hope is that each exmo candle will bring you strength and giggles, and a physical reminder that you’re not alone, as you strike that match and light up outer darkness.
