One of Edmonton, Alberta’s first female real estate agents.  On the morning of Wednesday, Sept 15, 1971, 29 year old Mary Ann Plett, one of Edmonton, Alberta’s first female real estate agents left her office on Whyte Ave in Edmonton, Alberta to show an acreage just outside the city in nearby Looma, Alberta to a mysterious man only know as “James Cooper”.  Mary Ann Plett was never seen alive again and the mysterious “James Cooper” was never brought to justice.
