His directorial debut, Chennai 600028, marked his first major success, followed by the hit comedy thriller Saroja. Venkat continued to make his mark with the entertaining Goa, and is now in the spotlight for his highly anticipated film GOAT (The Greatest of All Time), featuring an ensemble cast led by Thalapathy Vijay.
