They discuss major problems regarding the ways our legal system often has the final word on the fate of someone’s life as well as the opportunities for productive intervention that can occur when criminal justice is coupled with compassion.

Omari and Brian sit down with artist, professor and mentor, Sam Dunson, to discuss how the pandemic impacted the artistic process, the gifts and challenges of being a black artist and the power of mentorship amongst life’s most difficult moments.
