In this episode we catch up with our good friend Caren Dougall from North of Nine Equine Canine & Bodywork to talk about canine bodywork and how it works, how nutrition plays a role in joint health and preventive measure we can take with our dogs to help support them for the future. Carens passion for animals, like most of us, came at a young age. She first began her career as a RVT and over the past 5 years have expanded her education in animal health and provides whole body health and support for dogs, cats and horses. Caren is a certified Whole Energy Body Balance Bodywork for pets practitioner and teacher. She is also a certified Equi-Bow practitioner and Instructor. Her education and skills does not stop there, she is continuously expanding her knowledge and skills to help support our pets

This week we caught up with Dr. Kaylan Elock from West Springs Vet Clinic and discussed the benefits of feeding fresh food to our dogs, food therapy and using food as medicine to treat common issues we see in our dogs today. Dr. Elock obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Western College ofVeterinary Medicine in Saskatoon (University of Saskatchewan) in 2007. Dr. Elock is certified in Western Herbal Medicine and is currently working on a post graduate diploma in Western Herbal Medicine and as well, a certification in Natural Food Therapy. She is passionate about finding natural options to treat and support patients throughout life
