This edition of Legacy is a full length interview with John Smeby of Reality Rock as we discuss the "Second Wave" of Jesus Music, the rock, new wave and alternative music of Southern California (and beyond) in the 1980's. Fueled by bands like Undercover, Altar Boys, Lifesavers, Lifters, The 77's and more, this wave evangelized and broke even more barriers within the church accepting a whole new crop of fringe believers.

On this episode we are more than excited to spend time with a true Jesus Music pioneer and someone who actually was a part of the "Jesus Revolution." As a founding member of Love Song, Chuck Girard played a pivotal role in the birth and proliferation of what we fondly refer to as "Jesus Music."  But Chuck's ministry and musical expression has lasted longer than that as there is even new music in the offing. We talk music, ministry, sex, drugs and rock n roll with a true "Rock N Roll Preacher." Please share this episode! #ChuckGirard #JesusRevolution #JesusMusic

In this episode we talk to Lewis McVay of Mustard Seed Faith about the movie, "Jesus Revolution" and the early days of the Jesus Music Movement! This a must not miss episode!

In this episode we hit a bit of heavy metal roadblock with several classic and modern hard rock and metal releases discussed. But there are some Jesus Music and 90's alternative releases in the mix as well. We are also joined by one of the finest Christian Heavy Metal vocalists, Rob Rock. As well as lending his amazing metal voice to classic albums by Angelica and Joshua, Rob also has several solo albums to his credit. He is on my Christian Metal Mt. Rushmore!
