The Dark Side of the Post-Divorce Glow Up
2026/10/29
Send us Fan Mail
The post-divorce glow up story is everywhere… but what looks like transformation from the outside is often a nervous system in survival. Or finally beginning to exhale, settle, recalibrate.
A follow-up to my conversation with Emma Wright, this solo episode is for the woman quietly holding it together, doing the hard, invisible work.
You are allowed to NOT be glowing.

Marriage Is Obsolete. Or Is It...?

Marriage is obsolete. Or is it?
Most of Sallyanne's clients are women. Most of them are separating from or divorcing a male partner. And a significant number of them do not repartner afterwards. Consciously choose not to.
In this episode, Sallyanne unpacks why: not because these women have given up on love, become cynical or jaded. It's but because they've done the work most people never do — properly analysing the relationship, from both inside and outside it — and landed somewhere unexpected. A life they genuinely love.

The Connected Goodbye
2026/10/15
Send us Fan Mail
Divorce asks you to say goodbye more than once - to a person, a relationship, to a home, to a version of yourself.
This episode is about doing that well, using a framework conflict facilitator Priya Parker calls "the connected goodbye," and the story of how my kids and I left the home we built after my divorce.
Key takeaways:
A connected goodbye has three moves: acknowledge the ending, take stock of what it gave you, mark the exitNaming an ending costs less than avoiding itWhat a home - or a person - held for you doesn't disappear when you leave. It comes with youSallyanne Hartnell - Divorce Coach & Strategist

Co-Living With a Life Wife After Divorce
2026/10/08
Send us Fan Mail
Co-living as an option after divorce for single parents.
Finding herself a suddenly single mum with a seven-month-old daughter, Jenna couldn't afford to stay in her home solo. So she looked for a co-living partner and found Priscilla.
They spent 2.5 years co-living with their children, becoming each other's "Life Wife" sharing not just a home, but co-parenting, easing the exhaustion, overwhelm and financial pressures of solo parenting, creating a different type of family.
This is their story, and what Jenna is doing now to support other women and mothers.
Jenna is the co-founder of Lioness Loans Co, a social enterprise broking home loans with her business partner Rachael McKenzie, reinvesting 50% of profits into coaching and mentoring single mums toward home loan readiness. She's also founder of The Lioness Den, a soon-to-be-registered charity with a big vision: affordable housing and intentional communities for single mothers.
With more than 20 years across mental health, disability, crisis accommodation and homelessness, Jenna is building the safe, secure, financially independent future she once needed herself.
Priscilla Jones is a Relationships Counsellor, at Ascolta Wellness. She has a deep passion for helping people understand and navigate their emotions, while enhancing communication, connection and intimacy.

Be Difficult (You Live Longer)
"Difficult" is a word used to keep women small. Compliant. Quiet. Easy to manage.
This episode is about what actually earns you that label and why it might be the healthiest and the greatest thing you ever could actually be.
In relationships, in families, during divorce, even paretning after divorce "difficult" often just means "different."
A different opinion. Different idea. Different read on the same situation.

The Cost Of Choosing You
2026/09/10
Send us Fan Mail
What Choosing Yourself Really Costs — And Why It's Worth It Anyway
We talk about "choosing yourself" "main character energy" like it's easy once you decide to do it. A one-and-done decision.
Nobody shows you what the middle part looks like - the disappointing people, the sitting with guilt that isn't yours, the questioning whether you're the problem the moment someone reacts badly to your boundary. Or how that feels.
In this revisit episode, I go back to "choose you" and show you the texture of it. Not the after. The during.
What it costs you.
Why it's worth it.

The Quiet Power of Knowing Your Worth
2026/08/27
Send us Fan Mail
There is a quiet power I see in my clients, during divorce, and after it. Because power, real power, is what becomes available on the other side.
A quiet, settled, deeply rooted kind. A kind that doesn't ask permission or require validation. It simply exists. The quiet power we can access after divorce.
Knowing your worth in divorce changes everything.
This episode is about the woman who is fully, finally becoming aware of everything she is capable of being after divorce and what that actually looks like in practice.
What it means to choose yourself - in the big moments and the small.
Why coming home to yourself is the most powerful thing you can do.

The Divorce Plot Twist No One Tells You About
2026/08/20
Send us Fan Mail
Nobody tells you this part. There is a plot twist to divorce.
Yes, divorce is painful. Yes, it is grief and heartbreak and chaos and hard in ways you didn't see coming. All of that is true.
And also (plot twist) - there is an after. One that can be, if you let it, genuinely and surprisingly good.
In this episode I'm talking to three women at once. It's for you if you are...
still in the thick of it and can barely see past todaystarting to come up for air and can almost see possibility of life afterwardsthrough the worst of it but still sometimes wonder, at 2am, if it was all worth it.And it's for you if you're ready to honour and celebrate what's next, what life gets to feel like after divorce, but you're not sure how.
I talk about what divorce actually cracks open. What you realise about yourself on the other side and the space that opens up, ready for you and your very own plot twist - the one you get to write for yourself.

Future You Deserves A Vote
2026/08/06
Send us Fan Mail
The decisions you're making today have real, long term implications and they don't disappear once the divorce is finalised.
They compound. And they affect the life and the future version of you that is coming for you.
In this episode, Sallyanne asks the question most of us never think to ask in the middle of a crisis: who's speaking for the version of you that's still being built?
What changes when future you gets a vote, and why it matters.
Because maybe someone is missing from the decision making.
Not your lawyer. Not your therapist. Not the voice in your head running on fear and exhaustion.
The person you'll be in a year. In five.
There is no one right answer or way through the messy hard parts of divorce. It's about the difference between a decision made in survival mode and one made with a thread of awareness running through it, even a painful one.

The Final Straw (it came on a Tuesday)
2026/07/30
Send us Fan Mail
In this episode of Reflect, Reclaim & Liberate, I talk about what my divorce coaching clients say actually made them go, and it almost never looked like the dramatic ending you'd expect.
No affair. No blow-up. Just a slow, quiet erosion of hope, trust, and the version of themselves they used to be, often reaching its final, clear moment on the most ordinary of days.
If you're in the hard in-between right now - wondering whether to stay or go, feeling like you can't point to "one big reason," or grieving a relationship you're technically still in - this episode is for you.
What relationship erosion really looks like, the myths that keep people stuck in unhappy marriages, and how to start trusting your own knowing again.
In this episode:
What clients actually said made them finally leave (it's rarely what you'd think)The difference between falling out of love and losing yourselfWhat "grieving a relationship you haven't left yet" really feels likeCommon myths that keep people stuck in the decision to stay or leaveA few reflective questions to sit with, if you're in the in-between
