Pris, Roll For Acrobatics! (Bladerunner 1982)
2026/10/05
Eric and Tegan watch Bladerunner 1982 continuing in the Ridley Scott's repertoire. The visuals and score are stunning and legendary. This movie has been cited as a major inspiration for many modern filmmakers.
Eric and Tegan agree that romance wasn't needed in this film, Rachel and Deckard could have just been friends. Eric also got sibling vibes from Pris and Roy and didn't enjoy them kissing, Tegan didn't feel the same.
Goa'uld mother ships made an appearance in this movie! Did you spot them? The hosts feel sure Stargate reused these props for sure.
Overall this movie gets high marks from the hosts with a few critiques, they recommend you watch it if you somehow haven't already and Tegan highly recommends Bladerunner 2049!

But Daddy, You Told Me It Was My Race! (SG-1 Space Race)
2026/09/28
Eric and Tegan watch Stargate SG-1 Season 7 Episode 8 "Space Race." Sam gets a chance to get her adrenaline fix and participates in a race with Warrick from previous episode "Forsaken." Teal'c is not interested in the political summit Daniel and Jack are going to on the planet so he uses his new skill of lying so he can join Sam doing race prep. Hebridan apparently has a Human-supremacist problem and there is sabotage at work in this race! There was some casual sexism thrown in, to boot. No big deal! Murray returns in this episode with hilarious results. This is a very enjoyable one overall. We hope Sam has a great Space Race 2 in Season 8!

We Learned Unas! (SG-1: Enemy Mine)
2026/09/21
Silvana, Eric and Tegan watch Season 7 Episode 7 "Enemy Mine" of Stargate SG-1.
A SG team has found Naquadah on a planet that surprise! Has Unas. And the U.S. government's first idea is to just displace them and utilize violence. This sends a troubling message about the U.S. government for sure. After a lot of effort, Daniel is able to negotiate with Chaka. And Teal'c is strangely silent regarding the Unas who were previously enslaved by the goa'uld.
This episode has an Unas translation montage which makes the podcast hosts yearn for the recent movie Project Hail Mary which they all really enjoyed the translation scenes from.
The Unas win the fight before it starts because they have a bigger army, but the humans still get a great deal. Make it make sense!

2026/09/14
Silvana and Tegan watch Season 7, Episode 7 of Stargate SG-1. They discuss the many fun facts that surround this episode and both wonder if anyone tried editing this episode.
This episode was directed by Peter Deluise, because of course it was: there's someone in a bed.

Hot Chris (SG-1 "Revisions")
2026/08/24
Silvana, Tegan, and Eric are pleasantly surprised by the Stargate SG-1 episode "Revisions". Season 7, Episode 5 is not one that any of the hosts remembered watching, but they all loved this episode. This episode was filmed in a garden that the hosts visited when they went to Vancouver, and guest stars a Stargate Atlantis regular.
In this episode, a whole civilization must live inside a dome. Is the Link keeping them alive or complacent?

"Flame-o, Hotman!" (Avatar Aang 2026 Film)
2026/08/17
Silvana and Tegan and sans Eric today while they discuss the new film, Avatar Aang. All of Team Avatar is back for this fantastic and beautiful film. The ladies have a hard time giving anything but the top score in all categories for this one.

Kelno'reem for the Symbiote-less (SG-1: "Orpheus")
2026/08/10
Silvana, Eric, and Tegan watch Season 7 Episode 4 "Orpheus," which seems to have nothing to do with the Greek myth. Teal'c is injured and has a slow recovery ahead of him and he's having a hard time with it. Jack and Daniel are, in fairness, doing a pretty good job of supporting him. Sam gets to explains a sci fi film to the team in the weight room while Teal'c is doing Physical Therapy and Daniel gets to show off his new muscles. Daniel is hearing things and seeing visions and it turns out Ry'ac and Bra'tac are on a labor planet so the team comes up with a plan to set them free. They have to move quickly because Bra'tac has run out of tretonin! Bra'tac gives a great pep talk and Daniel convinces Teal'c that kelno'reem isn't just for Jaffa with symbiotes, actually. They escape, saving the day and Teal'c gets his mojo back!
Peter DeLuise unsurprisingly directed this episode and a side character shared the name of his 21 Jump Street character. The hosts praise the emotional depth of the episode and think it was a long time coming. This episode also raises a lot of questions about how the Jaffa have been written up to this point and why the Jaffa rebellion wasn't prioritized by the SGC and Teal'c far earlier?

2026/08/03
Silvana, Tegan, and Eric wrap up their conversation regarding "Disclosure Day" and give their final ratings. Silvana and Tegan had a very hard time enjoying this movie, but Eric found a lot to advocate for. If you can turn your brain off and not ask questions, you could still enjoy the action in this film.

Phoned It In, Like ET (Disclosure Day, Part 1)
2026/07/27
Silvana, Tegan, and Eric watch the new film, Disclosure Day. Silvana and Tegan were not fans of this film and even though Eric found things to like, all three are mystified by the 80% on Rotten Tomatoes. We all feel like Stephen Spielberg really phoned this one in.
This review is split into two parts. We discuss the first half of the film and some of our initial impressions of the film overall.
Clo'neil (Stargate SG-1 "Fragile Balance")
2026/07/20
Silvana, Tegan, and Eric discuss Season 7, Episode 3 of Stargate SG-1, "Fragile Balance". In this episode, Jack shows up to the SG-C as a 15 year old boy. This episode has a lot of great moments, but we could do without the last minute of the episode. You'll also learn why we probably won't be covering Twilight and hear about the invention of Stargate Bingo.

Cat Concierge ("The Mummy" 1999, Part 2)
2026/07/13
Eric comes clean about how much he did not enjoy watching "The Mummy" but Silvana and Tegan are still awash in nostalgia. This episode takes the hosts into various conversations about the plot holes and inconsistent tone of the film. Side tracking conversations include why is there so much quicksand in movies from the 90s? This episode contains the ratings for "The Mummy" and a final recommendation that listeners should watch it if they haven't already.
Wookie Life Debt ("The Mummy" 1999 Film, Part 1)
2026/06/29
Silvana, Tegan, and Eric watch the 1999 version of "The Mummy". To Silvana and Tegan's surprise and delight, Eric had not seen this movie before, or if he did, he did not remember it. Much to Eric's dismay, he probably wishes he still couldn't remember.
The three discuss how this movie can't decide what it wants to be: horror, comedy, thriller? Tegan and Silvana basque in the nostalgia while Eric learns what he's been missing.
Lousy Hours, Constant Peril (SG-1 "Homecoming")
2026/06/23
Silvana and Eric watch and discuss Season 7, Episode 2 of Stargate SG-1. This is the final episode with Jonas Quinn for a while, and has us returning to his planet to save it from Anubis.
The Kelowna Beanie Baby Market may have never crashed. Jonas should get on that.
