Why do so many Christians struggle to define or defend what they believe? In this episode, author and pastor Dave Jenkins joins us to discuss his book, The War of the Worldviews: Truth, Lies, and the Battle for the Christian Mind. We dive into how to practically build a biblical worldview, the real root causes of biblical and theological illiteracy today, and why standing firm on the truth of Scripture is more critical than ever. In This Episode, We Cover: What is a Biblical Worldview? Breaking down the narrative of Scripture: Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Consummation. The 3 Pillars of Illiteracy: Understanding the differences between biblical, theological, and worldview illiteracy. Discipleship vs. Pragmatism: Why modern Christian culture focuses on quick fixes over theological foundations. How to Exercise True Discernment: Loving God and neighbor by testing all things against the sufficiency of God's Word. Hope for the Church: Why Christians shouldn't be discouraged by deception in our culture. This episode examines the film Rainbow Fire claims that women have always been called to preach and lead. We unpack the emotional appeal behind that message, compare it to Scripture, and explore how misinterpreting texts like 1 Corinthians 14 and 1 Timothy 2 can echo the rebellion of Korah — challenging God’s authority and design for His church. Has the church muzzled women by restricting them to "home" type of roles and behind-the-scenes service? In this biblical response to the Rainbow Fire documentary, we expose how the film recasts biblical teachings on women’s roles as bondage; something women supposedly need deliverance from to be ‘unmuzzled. We examine Titus 2, Proverbs 31, and 1 Corinthians 12 to see how Scripture actually honors faithful women’s roles. Does visibility equal value, or is faithfulness what God praises?

Apologetics can seem overwhelming when getting started. But what if there was a simple way to start and a better way to approach and think about apologetics? So I ask Andrew Rappaport of Striving for Eternity, who has a weekly podcast in which he engages in evangelism and apologetics, for practical advice for women on why we should "be prepared to give a reason for the hope that is in us" and how to exhibit it in our lives. On this episode, I had the honor of interviewing Angela Mitchell of Raising Apologetics to discuss her ministry and how we as homeschoolers can train our children up to know "the reason for the hope we have" in Christ. How can parents bring Apologetics to the home? What does this look like practically? What is the goal of apologetics when it comes to our children, and how important is motherhood in achieving this goal? This and more, on this episode of T.E. Join me as I dive into Allie Beth Stuckey's interview with Lisa Bevere on her podcast Relatable. I dive into a critical discussion on whether the Beveres' teachings align with Biblical Christianity. Are Allie and Lisa's differences minor theological issues? Do Allie and Lisa agree on the principle of the Authority of Scripture? Is female preachers a tertiary issue? Can we and should we unite even if we disagree with other Christians on this issue? Are the Beveres Prosperity teachers? And many more questions are answered in this episode as we look at just how much the Beveres relate to Biblical Christianity. John and Lisa Bevere are prominent figures in contemporary Christian ministry, known for their passionate teachings, bestselling books, and global outreach through their organization, Messenger International. Supporters highlight the Bevere's sincerity, relatability, and commitment to core Christian truths like salvation through Christ, while critics argue they promote extra-biblical revelation and prophecy, straying from Scripture. So what's the truth? Are the Bevere's committed to teaching "core Christian truths like salvation through Christ"? What do the Beveres teach? Do they proclaim the Biblical Gospel or something else? After 5 months of research, watching and reading what they teach, I wanted to present what I have learned and answer the question I often hear... "What's so wrong with the Bevere's?" May this episode expose the false teaching in the church, point to Scripture to be thoroughly equipped for every good work, and bring glory to God. Explore the intersection of automatic writing, idolatry, and the Enneagram with renowned spiritual teacher Doreen Virtue. In this insightful discussion, Doreen shares her expertise on the spiritual risks of New Age tools, the Enneagram, and how the Ennea-types were developed through automatic writing. Is the Enneagram "just a personality test"? And should Christians "redeem" pagan spiritual tools to "gospel-center" them in hopes of making us more like Christ?
