Wildbrain's response to "enhanced" Super Show on MeTV Toons: https://www.cartoonbrew.com/artificial-intelligence/wildbrain-comment-ai-mario-super-show-259792.html Spicy and Peach are here for an intermission episode between seasons, as we talk about the second animated Nintendo movie in theaters, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie! We also cover some recent Mario Super Show drama and its footage on TV, the animation was already kinda bad but somehow it got worse. But we loved Mario Movie 2 so much that it healed our souls from the upscale job. - - - Spicy & Peach: Supershow Saga (aka The Supershow Saga) is a podcast picking up where the Hard Drive Podcast stopped to watch the Super Mario Bros. 3 cartoon, the Super Mario World cartoon, and possibly other video game shows. Phil Harnage Interview: https://talesfromthecollection.com/phil-harnage-interview/ We finally made it to the most iconic episode of all the DIC Mario cartoons, Mama Luigi!! In this episode Delfino and Peach try to drink along to how many times they quote the episode, but instead it led to a lot of speech fumbles and distractions from Peach's cat Bunny. We also use insight from an interview with Phil Harnage to understand how this episode is leagues above all the others, truly lightning in a bottle for returning to finish this series. - - - Delfino & Peach: Supershow Saga (aka The Supershow Saga) is a podcast picking up where the Hard Drive Podcast stopped to watch the Super Mario Bros. 3 cartoon, the Super Mario World cartoon, and possibly other video game shows. Here's an episode that took so long to make, the sequel movie has been announced, teaser trailered, and leaked through crossover items! Join Delfino and Peach as they talk about the best (official) Super Mario animated project. The first half of this episode was recorded around April 7 2023, giving our impressions and analysis of all the pre-release material. The second half is less of a review and more so the things that stuck with us after viewing the movie. I do hope you enjoy listening to our thoughts on it! - - - Delfino & Peach: Supershow Saga (aka The Supershow Saga) is a podcast picking up where the Hard Drive Podcast stopped to watch the Super Mario Bros. 3 cartoon, the Super Mario World cartoon, and possibly other video game shows. So... long time no see! This episode has been cooking in the kitchen for some time now (March 22 2022) but we're ready to go... to school! This episode of Mario World, A Little Learning, deals with all the common school tropes. Things like saying the pledge each morning, mandatory science fairs, an endless cycle of bullying, and townwide discrimination towards Koopas?? Uh oh, looks like this episode will take a bit to unpack... - - - Delfino & Peach: Supershow Saga (aka The Supershow Saga) is a podcast picking up where the Hard Drive Podcast stopped to watch the Super Mario Bros. 3 cartoon, the Super Mario World cartoon, and possibly other video game shows. But we've gotten some outside help with returning guest Mettadox to add to our collective small American football knowledge to figure out what The Yoshi Shuffle is really about. Because despite pausing to explain itself every minute or so, the plot is as scrambled as Luigi the Egg's brain after he goes through Koopa rules football. Because their football is a stone Luigi, and he didn't maaake it. - - - The outro was composed by Taylor Laire, listen to more of her music at https://tlaire.bandcamp.com/ and her Twitter at https://twitter.com/tlayerlair I'd love guests on the podcast! Find Sushi on Twitch at https://www.twitch.tv/lordofsushi, and on Twitter at https://twitter.com/KnightofSushi We're just full of delays this month, but to make up for it we have a wonderful Splatoon friend Sushi on as a guest to recount Rock TV, which ended up a lot better than we thought it would. We deduce that Mario's not on the only one who can invent things, that Magikoopas work for the pay and nothing else, and despite everything that Koopa puts Mario and these cave people through, at the end of the day they're still friends. And also that Koopa will take any chance to smack that Luigi booty. - - - The outro was composed by Taylor Laire, listen to more of her music at https://tlaire.bandcamp.com/ and her Twitter at https://twitter.com/tlayerlair. We're back for another episode of Mario World with Gopher Bash, which does have Monty Moles as the main enemy but they're not really the focus of the episode. Instead we get an episode about farming some crops with Luigi, and Cheatsy be darned if he isn't going to camp at this field for months on end to see some produce to steal. He and the Bois are going to pilfer the prime produce. (Side note, there is no EX episode this month, Peach and I were too busy to think of an idea before the 15th.) - - - The outro was composed by Taylor Laire, listen to more of her music at https://tlaire.bandcamp.com/ and her Twitter at https://twitter.com/tlayerlair. It turned out a lot longer and complicated than expected with guest Hans Gonk returning to watch another Mario episode with us, this one is the whole Party Line! What starts as a repeat idea to bring technology to the cave world turns into a soapbox sermon about the terribleness of phones, and touching people at the same time as others. Donate to House of Mario member Emilia's transition costs at https://gofund.me/dfa24946 This week for the Supershow Saga, we head to the dangerous side of town with biking social groups in Born to Ride. Despite its rough and tough premise, this episode may turn out to be the most normal Super Show like one of the bunch, but Delfino finds this social group to have big multi-level group vibes, while Peach isn't a huge fan of Princess Toadstool's overbearing aunting. We've hit the cuckoo crazy this week, as we see fast food in the Dinosaur World for King Scoopa Koopa. We've also invited a returning guest (Drew Agnew) onto the show to get his opinions on the Harnage matter, but he was more put off by the insanity of Delfino and Peach equating this episode to a 'Don't Do Drugs' message more than a 'Don't Eat Unhealthy Foods' one. Find Chris Vasco on Twitch at https://www.twitch.tv/cvasco_23. We have a hauntingly long episode for the Supershow Saga today, as we bring Chris Vasco in to share a spooky scary discussion on the Super Mario World cartoon, and the episode `Ghosts 'R' Us`, because the writers forgot that they already named an episode in Mario 3 `Crimes R Us`. But the episode becomes less about ghosts, and more about old people being evil, and Oogtar bullying Yoshi and pretending it's a friendship. After a Holiday Break last week, the Supershow Saga returns for the new year. And what better way to celebrate than with a low-budget carnival, so Send In The Clown! (The show couldn't afford more than one clown). Big Mouth is here to steal the circus act from Lemmy, but we drop that act fast to reveal the most game accurate game episode of the entire US Mario cartoon canon. And somehow, the Clown is to thank for this. - - - The outro was composed by Taylor Laire, listen to more of her music at https://tlaire.bandcamp.com/ and her Twitter at https://twitter.com/tlayerlair. The intermission song was written by Matthew Taranto for Brawl in the Family, listen to it here: https://youtu.be/tFdwqZ2CmKw Happy Holidays to all you Paizanos! We're breaking the schedule to match the Mario cartoon with the Christmas season, because we're staying up to see if Mario- I mean Santa, shows up The Night Before Cave Christmas! This is also the first time we see Oogtar, the new Toad that Peach really doesn't like. But what we don't like even more in this episode, is all the dirty jokes that keep showing up. Is it just us? Or are the writers really fed up writing for children's media their entire lives? - - - The outro was composed by Taylor Laire, listen to more of her music at https://tlaire.bandcamp.com/ and her Twitter at https://twitter.com/tlayerlair.
